Welcome to The Fab Forums. My name is Kyle Voss and I produce Custom Motorsports Fabrication content of all forms for you. Carbon Fiber, TIG Welding, Metal Shaping, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Custom Choppers, and everything in between. I work hard to bring you new content on a weekly basis.
Here are some of the builds you can find on this channel.
I have built several Chevy trucks on this channel. The first was my 1964 C10 named Crown Spoyal and the most recent C10 truck project was the 1969 I currently have named the Black Pearl.
I am also finishing up a custom twin turbo Ford Mustang build I call the Gray Goose. It’s a 400 cubic inch Windsor style engine with twin 70mm turbos. I am hoping to make around the 1000 horse power mark to the tires on this particular build.
Last but not least is the one off custom hot rod build called the Bibbster. This is what I call a modern day hot rod. It’s made from an old Ford Mustang foxbody, but made to look like an old school open wheeled hot rod.
I also feature other fabricators and shops like Cutworm Specialties hand formed aluminum wide body kit for a BMW e46. Jeb Greenstone has also built a twin turbo, coyote powered model A style hot rod from scratch, and is currently building a Toyota TE72 wagon drift car powered by a 1UZ Lexus v8. Jeb’s custom fabrication skills are fun to watch and always make for good videos.
Check out my playlist to see some or all of these builds.

I been at this welding business forty some years and I've found to have a consistent look to the bead sequence at least in the tig process is to dab the front edge of the puddle consistently almost allowing the puddle to drag the filler metal in !! Thanks for the vids !!

Nice weld Kyle, you sure do exhibit professionalism in your chosen tasks and you have a great woman too for helping you build your toys! Not very many women will do that for their husband. :( I'm really enjoying the videos on the Bibster and I can't wait to see it going down the road under its own power. I'm also looking forward to seeing how the Gray Goose turns out. Having 1000 hp to the wheels is also the goal for my Mustang if I'm able to get it done. Going in for an operation on my legs in a couple of weeks and I sure hope it enables me to get back on my feet well enough to "Go do work, son!"

Im betting this thing will have some really cool driving characteristics, what you have is an entire tube chassis that is not flexing and still light enough to be moved around by yourself. And a rwd turbo Sbf with some trick suspension. The wheels out front will point it and the car will drive like its on rails.

How is your front suspension going to work? Shouldn’t the the top mount of your strut tower be solidly mounted? The strut bracing shouldn’t move like shown in the video. Idk, maybe I’m missing something. Just curious.

I’ve also been baffled by this from the start, is it going to have 2 hydraulic cylinders? 1 to lift, 1 as a shock??? It doesn’t make much sense why it pivots at the bottom with nothing keeping it from folding up?????

There is still nothing solid to oppose the force of the hydraulic strut. Your strut tower needs to be solid mounted to the chassis or you run a secondary cantilever spring, which would also need to solid mount to the chassis. Also, no tower brace?

I have a question . I bought a 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook and some one put a Chevy reared in it using leaf springs I need to build shock mounts to put shocks on it. I don't know how to figure out the distance between the uper and lower mounts. My thoughts were to Measure the travel distance of the shocks and divide that in half . Then weld the mounts to the car at ride hight. But I am just using a pair of socks that came off a suburban witch are new they were installed shortly be for it was wrecked or should I buy another set and if so what should I get. Thanks for any help you can provide

I was looking and it looks like your using 308 stainless filler? I thought u had to use e70s3 filler on steel?

I am using er70s-2...that is whats recommended for chrome moly. The filler rods I am using are a gold color because of a copper coating to keep them from rusting, stainless rods is bare.

Not enough gas coverage, or too much heat. Get a Furick gas lense setup like Kyle is using.
