Nicely done. I found the orange sealant works best for long term and blows the bontrager stuff or the Stan's away (in my personal tests of course).

I tried converting my wheels to tubeless and keep getting a leak around the valve stem... any tips?

stephan p I would try to tighten the stem slightly with some needle nose pliers but not too tight. Pump the tires up to maximum pressure and really roll the sealant around they are good. Balance the tire around and repeat that usually does it

*is the tire sealant heavier in weight or create more rolling resistance than inner tube?*

Standard tubes are heavier than the sealant (tubito) tubes are lighter but they will not save you from a pinch flat on the trail.

Do have use tubeless tires or can you get away with standard tires?

345Dion most Mtb tires these days are convertible but they must have a bead on the inside seam. They should say on the tire.
