My husband and I visited Tuckaleechee caverns on our honeymoon 25 years ago. We've never forgotten it. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Good to support family businesses. Worth doing if you can handle the stairs.

We were there 14 years ago and will never ever forget this wonderful cave! Love your videos SO much. Living vicariously through you two until we can be there again. I’m almost certain your hike to White Oak Sinks (Rainbow Cave Falls) is the River you see in Tuckaleechee cave, that’s where it goes when it disappears into the ground!! Our tour guide told us they dyed the water at Rainbow Cave Falls and seen the dye in Tuckaleechee. We’ve done that hike twice but now you cannot access the falls because of the danger to the bats. Amazing!! Keep exploring for us 😁 Physical body in Detroit, soul in the Smokies. Mark.

Haven’t been to Tuckaleechee Caverns since the early 90s. Glad to see they’ve kept things the same in the main building, including the 60’s era signage and the wood paneling. It’s a classic roadside attraction for sure! Awesome video of the caverns, Will!

Love your videos and love Tuckaleechee Caverns. Keep all the good videos coming. Now go to the Trout farm nearby and fish and let them cook them for you. The water that comes out of the cavern feeds the trout farm.

You two took me to where I have not been since October 30 1971 when my new bride (may God rest her soul...her memory is a blessing) took that decent...we were on our honeymoon in Gattlinburg and driving back to Townsend to eat breakfast at the Wilson's restaurant and afterward decided on the Tuckaleechee Caverns for a thrill 😃...we walked the same rout/steps as you guys. At that date in time there were sealed rations of food and water stored in the caves for national emergencies (remember this was not to long from hiding and covering your head in school if we were attacked via nukes)...the guide at the time pointed out the distance (that didn't look that far) in the cavern room where things are not totally in prospective by asking one of us for a "flash cube" from a Kodak Camera (remember flash cubes) and throwing it as hard as he could into the cave room and it looked like it only went 25-30 feet in that huge room (that flash cube is more than likely still there). Those were good times had by a couple 18 year old "kids" newlyweds that stayed married and faithful and raised two wonderful daughters 😊...I lost her on Easter Sunday in 2017 after almost 46 years of marriage, adventure and a sh*t load of fun! Thank you Dawn and Will for treading the same steps my Terri and I did over the years...it brings back tears...but GOOD tears. I pray to meet you two some fine day 😄 😀 😃.
