I can't speak on any "new" diversity training *specifically,* but when I was in (2007-2013), we did Equal Opportunity training at least three times a month. Death by PowerPoint. I call serious bullshit on that claim that diversity training is "low."

Before my retirement from the Army all I saw was green, and still do to this day. 'Diversity Training' is a waste of time and money in a profession where you are to go into combat. I don't care who or what they are or do as long as it doesn't affect readiness. All the useless classes sometimes took more of the work week than actual work and training in our jobs as soldiers. Right now, those who I know are still in say that sometimes a whole week at a time is used for nothing but useless death by powerpoint on stuff that was covered half a year ago. As much as I didn't like Carson (mainly cause his voice sounds like a smarmy snake oil salesman) and didn't agree with him on all issues, he did ask questions and challenge anyone who he felt was not being smart, upfront, or disguising things. Funny how they place the blame of Dominion on him when he was one of the only ones who were asking for proof before going all in on things. Carson, for all his faults, was the only one who didn't give into the absolute message they wanted at FOX. Could have been worse....
