Dear Fr. Warner, thank you very much for this in-depth teaching of Kings. The way you teach us is impactful and really brings the Old Testament to life, and I am beginning to see the connection between it and Jesus’ strong teachings in the New Testament, and it is making God’s Word even more powerful in my heart, mind and soul. I am also amazed that what was happening over seven hundred years before Jesus was born, is applicable to what is still happening even today in the world, and we have many lessons to learn from this, including to not be afraid and to stand firm and remain faithful to God, and to pray continuously. I thank God for the focus, patience, knowledge and wisdom he gives you while you do the hard work of studying God’s Word for us. I ask God to bless you and keep you hopeful and expectant for his healing of your health issues 🙏🏻❤️

Loved the title to today's teaching: Kneeling before God keeps you in good standing. Reminds me of the song "Down on my knees I found my Jesus" by Freddie Spires. Thanks Fr for explaining today's reading in simple terms. It was listening to a nice story. I've witnessed God's miracles in my life many times when I've felt helpless and surrendered my troubled mind to Him in prayer especially when I'm in Church. Once out of Church, I've realised that my problems have just vanished and am at peace. The wonder of prayer. Praise God for taking care of our problems every day. Thank you Fr.

We see in today's reading the power of prayer, where the king of Judah goes to the lord for help against the king of Assyria and the lord answers his prayer by killing most of the army and giving victory in answer to his prayers. Thanks, Father for your teaching.God bless.

Beautifully explained the agony of Hezekiah, torn between being faithful to Yahweh and facing the evils of the world who are targeting your mind and body, in order to make soul weak. Though he failed to descern rightly, for a while, his intension was to save God's people and not for self interest. Placing the letter at the feet of Yahweh and praying in a total helpless condition, what a strong faith and boldness. God's judgement is not world's judgement. This situation faithfuls practically face today and it will be so for all the ages to come. Evil one terrorizes, by spreading fear of satan, glorifying satan, yet FEAR NOT put total trust in Lord Jesus, Who has won the Victory on the Cross over the satanic world and it's rulers, evil revengeful spirits. Fear God and Glorify Most Divine Triune God... Never doubt God's Mercy and Grace & Power, even at the point of persecutions, trials, storms & horrors and even death. Remember all Apostles and Saints who embraced martyrdom. What is the profit by gaining the temporary world and losing the ( body & soul) Eternal life. ( Saw movie number of times " Yahowaha muje tujpe barosa hai " - Hezekiah - beautiful worth watching. It brings life in the dead bones)

Dear Fr.Warner, Thank you for sharing your reflections on 2 Kings. It is amazing to know that even great kings can keel down in prayer. The Old Testament is so relevant and alive in our world even today. The power of prayer in my own life is working wonders even till today. When i was diagnosed with Leukaemia, i knelt down in prayer in the same hospital chapel before the crucifix and surrendered myself in prayer to the will of God. The mighty hand of God is with me every moment in my life helping me to remain fully active 27 years and counting. I have never experienced unanswered prayers. I continue to pray for you and your inspiring ministry.

E=mc2 Einstein law of energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed it just changes from one form to another. So are prayers, it cannot be created or destroyed, prayer are postive feelings within us. Prayers changes our atoms, molecules of everything around the universe. Moreover it also moves our creators- God's heart. This is the analogy I give to my science students when I encourage them to pray. And yes we all need to hear God word through you and so we pray for you.

The power of prayers and to pray without ceasing has always lifted me up. It is through prayers that I draw my strength. It was past midnight in May 2011 when we were supposed to reach the airport for the Holyland pilgrimage. My sister was to join me but at the eleventh hour my mother had a respiratory attack and was admitted in ICU of Holy Family Hospital. My sister wanted to backout from this pilgrimage but the assurance of her parish priest and the organiser of the pilgrimage made us to move on with the pilgrimage. Another sister of mine who was posted in Kathmandu finally made it to look after mom. On reaching Holyland, we had Mass offered for her recovery in the BEATITUDES CHURCH. After two days, we were informed that mom was shifted to the general ward. Prayers have never been unanswered...praise God! Thank you Fr. Warner for today's reflection on 2 Kings, reading the entire scripture before listening to your online Ministry has been of great help to me...thanks for your dedication and efforts for sharing the Word of God. Prayers for the reposed soul of your grandmother, may her soul rest in peace. Also, rest assured of my prayers for your good health and of parents. AMEN!

Dear Fr Warner thank you for giving us such a clear visualisation of the gospel story about King Hezekiah. The king threatened with the destruction of his kingdom by the Assyrians turns to God in prayer. He kneels before him in abject humility & reverence, acknowledging Him as the true Living God. His prayers are heard & Jerusalem saved. Prayer is so important for us & praying for one another is a powerful way to bear each other's burdens. Also when praying together, God manifests Himself in many ways. Praying for you Fr. Godbless you abundantly. 🙏 💕
