What the church does with the money is not our business. I get upset when they don't pray for rains. When I was a little girl when our devout elderly parish priest prayed it not only rained but poured. Today no prayers no rain .

Thank you Fr. For the teaching, esp. giving to the church, I too hve heard various untoward comments. I always say to myself what we are receiving is his gift to us in whatever form and I shouldnt grudge to give to the church from what we receive. This reminds me of the woman who gave from her substance that always comes to My mind.

Beautiful reflection

yes rightfully said father, pretty straight forward and hard hitting sermon coming from HK.... but I se that these are due to the readings which are referring to the final days of jesus and the harasment from the jewish authorities. Nevertheless father, I shd mention we shd not be too harsh on the jewish authorities in these questions, as I if not everyone have learnt many valuable lessons from the outcomes, and the answer of Jesus. All these have been possible only because of the jewish religious authority, I guess they did play some positive role after all. Im alwasy trying to see the good side of people no matter whp they are are. We are all created good, only that some stumble along the way and become bad, otherwise all intentions are good at least as when they start, Peace and god bless you and your travel father warner.
