Watching your videos has helped me out a lot. I just started throwing on the wheel this past January, and your videos taught me a lot. I wished you uploaded more often

Thanks, Tim - you make the different decorating techniques easy to understand. Love your use of 'technical' terms too! I'm assuming that you wipe away the black underglaze in the first one to make the contrast - would be nice to see that part, and the end productions of each piece too. I've learned lot, though, and for that I am grateful.

what brand of black clay is that?

+krv6551 that clay is Potters Supply House #504. It ends up firing to a smooth chocolate brown. It unfortunately isn't microwave safe.
