These older vehicles hit jumps and break axles, spindles etc, Ford, Chevy and Dodge back then were made they all had the same front axles in them with the exception that some chevys had a chevy 10 bolt in the front, but half ton and 3/4 ton trucks had dana 44s in them, So if you break a knuckle or bend a tube its not the car make, its dana.

That Cummins is tha best damn Cummins Turbo Diesel i've every seen live this long.
