Hi everyone and welcome to my embroidered sketchbook video!
I've been wanting to do this type of embroidery for a long time now. I was really excited about the idea of embroidering two of my favorite characters onto the cover of my sketchbook. And finally, I've done it! The video is now live! 🪡 🌱

Ok please don’t take this the wrong way, but is there anything artistic that you can’t do? I’m just blown away by all the creative work you do and do so damn well! Mistake? What mistake? Spirited Away is from Japan. Japanese manga (comics) are bound on the left. This is perfect. 😊 ❤

😃👍 Tugce, that was so beautiful and impressive!! 😍 I love Spirited Away, and the embroidery on the back side was a very lucky accident, because that would be the right side in Japan, which is very fitting!👌😉 You did an amazing work! I started embroidering my journals a year ago, and it has been a great learning process! I recommend you to use friction pens (that you can erase with the iron) instead of normal pencil, it gives a better finish for the design. Good luck ✨🤗🪡💖

There is no wrong or right side of the canvas. The so called "wrong" side has more texture or grain. ❤

Je suis impressionnée par tes élans créatifs. J’ai réalisé quelques sujets « point de croix » et à quelques reprises je me disais, qu’en créer un, de mon cru serait plaisant. Ton idée de recouvrir un carnet, a réveillé cette intention. Merci de tout cœur 🫶

Wow, great job! How many hours did the embroidery take you? And did u ever have any issues with sticking your fingers? It seems like for me, no matter how much I practice, I constantly stick my fingers. I recently got some silicone finger covers, so hopefully that helps 😊
