I disabled comments to put an end to the "That's not Puffa" comments, not to encourage people to tell me this somewhere else!
It's not like everybody will read this, but comments are disabled in case people who skip descriptions still exist!
Since I've had to disable comments on this video, I think I should revise this description and give an explanation for the mistakes I made within this video. This video was made back in 2010, and at that time, information online was subject to change.
The error that people commented on the most (and the one that annoyed me the most) was that the scrap engine was the Marklin Engine and not Puffa from TUGS like I said it was. The reason I said it was Puffa was because at the time the video was made, the Thomas the Tank Engine wiki said that the engine was Puffa. So whoever wrote that information on the wiki all those years ago is to blame for that information. If there is anybody who deserves to receive a million comments that this engine is not Puffa, it is whoever wrote on the wiki that it was Puffa. I just went off of the information I had online and I never would have said it was Puffa if I KNEW it wasn't! But thanks to so many people who just jumped straight to the comments and told me it wasn't Puffa WITHOUT reading the description to see if I already knew it first, I had no choice! But it is very likely that even if I write in the description that I am aware that this information is wrong, people will STILL tell me that it is wrong over and over again, and I am sick and tired of being told about the same mistake that I already know about! I only needed to be told this was wrong ONCE! ONCE! Not a million times, ONCE!
Another error that I am surprised people didn't talk about was the point I made regarding Sir Handel's Season 4 model getting remade into Proteus for The Magic Lamp, and then back into Sir Handel for Season 10. This is actually incorrect as the Narrow Gauge Engine models from Season 4 and those used in Season 6 onwards are not the same model. During Season 5, they used small-scale Narrow Gauge Engines as they did in Season 4 for the scenes where they interacted with the Standard Gauge Engines, and large-scale models, which were used for most other scenes of the Narrow Gauge Engines. The large-scale models were used exclusively throughout Season 6 until Season 12 with larger-scale models of Thomas and James being made to interact with the large-scale Narrow Gauge Engines. This could explain why Thomas and James were the only Standard Gauge Engines to interact with the narrow gauge Engines. I think it is safe to say that Proteus was remade into Sir Handel for Season 10, but I was wrong when I said it was the other way around first. Another thing I found out is that Proteus used Peter Sam's chassis.
One infamous piece of information that kept on changing was the debates over Splatter and Dodge's models getting recycled into Arry and Bert. After I had uploaded this video originally, for some reason, the information that Splatter and Dodge's models never came back after filming for Thomas and the Magic Railroad had come online, and for some time, people kept on telling me this information was wrong, even though the description would have told them that I already knew about it. But oddly, in more recent years, it turns out that I was right about Splatter and Dodge after all. I have no idea who it was that claimed that their models never came back from the filming of Thomas and the Magic Railroad, but at least it is good to know I was actually right about that.
It is quite sad I had to disable comments, but if writing in the description didn't stop people from telling me about the same mistake I made over and over again, there isn't anything else that will stop them. Some people jump straight to the comments and comment about an error without checking the description first to see if the video uploader already knows about it. Not even the thumbnail I made for this video stopped those comments, which I would think would be impossible to miss unless the last person who commented about the Puffa mistake ignored the thumbnail on purpose, which if he did, not cool, man! )8(
