Sally is really underrated! It would have been cool if she have been given more episodes. I agree that Rosie is the counterpart to Sally.

Well, it's bittersweet to see your biggest wheelhouse in the channel come to a close. I only hope you managed to conclude this series with no regrets moving forward. Tugs Month sounds like a great way to revisit your favorite show at a specific time of year. Lots of KZfaqrs do this and it's a very fun gimmick to try out. Best of luck to you, this coming October. As for Thomas counterparts, I see where you're coming from with Rosie. Although, I would also like to make a suggestion that Madge, that green three wheeled lorry might also be a good contender. As she's also a female side character but is also a different vehicle apart from the ones more focused on like Sally who is an airplane (one that can float on water, of course, but still a plane). I also find their personalities similar in some ways, even if we only know so much about Sally. I wish we got to know a bit more about her. It's always a shame that kids shows back in the day don't always do their female characters justice. Thanks for this stellar finale, Cinder. I wish you the best for the future videos to come. Sally was originally going to do a search for Big Mac in "Sunshine". It may be in the 30 minute cut, as there is a shot of Sally flying.

I think Isla the Flying Doctors' Plane would be the best match for Sally - not just because they're both planes, but also because Sally (if her role had been expanded) sounds like she'd have gone on regular search-and-rescue patrols, much like Isla.

Idea for tugs month: characters who didn't make it to screen

1:57 And in the unreleased us dub Sally was voiced by American casting director and voice actress Susan Blu who also worked alongside most of the other cast members of this cancelled US dub including Rob Paulsen Ed Gilbert Alan Oppenheimer Jack Angel Michael Bell Charlie Adler and Pat Musick and I can't say for sure but I do like to believe that if they did more episodes with that American dub they may have had Jim Cummings as Puffa or Johnny Cuba

This is why I want to see all the extended cuts of the episodes. That line also got me thinking that maybe Hercules’s cancelled episode took place around the time of High Winds, which would make sense even when you take in the fact that High Winds was made as that episode’s replacement. Strangely Tugs has a lot of 1930s designs in it, which has led to a theory that it’s actually set in the 1930s and the 1920s but is actually a cover up. And now the Tugs profiles is complete. Congratulations. And with that, it’s also time for me to start these ERTL Tugs edits that I’ve been teasing for nearly a year.

Maybe for Tugs months you can talk about some of the cancelled characters that were going to be made but ended up not as they're surprisingly a huge amount of characters that we're intended to appear on the show but we're cancelled due to the shows cancellation as well of some that just did not reach outside the concept stage of development apart from a few drawings

It’s TUG month Content Idea Time!: Ten Cents: Civil War. A Thomas & Friends v Tugs comparison in 5 categories: Stories, Characters, Setting, Production Design (sets, music, etc.) & Memorability. Two points for a win, one point apiece for both in a tie and zero points for a loss. All to see which is better. I’d say make it Thomas S3-5 only because all were impacted by TUGS and all are Classic Thomas which are the best of the best IMO. And remember: We are TUGS

I'm happy for you Cinder! I'm glad we came a long way to this! Can't wait for more Tugs Content Also if it counts, for Tugs, I think Daisy and Sally might have a common trait of being the pretty girl with the make up and being a more unique vehicle, though Rosie is definitley nicer. Maybe in another Tugs episode we can see some fan suggested character pairings, almost like a tier list for Tugs X Thomas, since you likely had a lot of suggestions!
