Only just realized when watching this that "winter made the already unbearable work in the port impossible, so we sent the tugs up river" is exactly what happened in real life when filming the episodes, and they put their real struggles in the show lol

Love Captain Star's last words where he warmly give kudos to his Tugs. Feels like something the OG would do if they saw there wouldn't be another season.

You know what I wish they had done for each episode of TUGS? I wish that they had made 2 different edits of each of the episodes for each different form of distribution: The 20 minute cuts could have still been edited and released as VHS exclusives in the UK, and if TUGS had gotten sold to America and put on one of the big 3 networks [CBS, NBC or ABC's Saturday Morning cartoon blocks] or something, those 20 minute edits [redubbed with an American/Canadian cast] could've been the cuts used on American television [with edits [fades to black] made for commercial breaks to get the programs up to a half hour in length], while the 15 minute cuts could've been what was aired on TV in the UK [and some countries internationally would've put them on VHS, maybe]. That's the best possible "good ending" I could have come up with for the show.

I like how Warrior has a very visible arc in pulling through for friends and having clever ideas.

That song at the end of this episode always gets me. You did such an amazing job with these edits. This is what the Salty's Lighthouse version of Tugs should've been. Thank you.

What is funny is that it happens to be snowing where I am right now. I'm sure I'm not the only person watching this right now who has snow in their area. This was quite a fascinating series and well put together. Seems strange that most of the Z-Stacks were there, but they didn't do much besides Zorran.

A solid ending. It appears that Warrior is ironically the smartest Tug through out the whole series, with him saving the day 3 diffrent times (on purpose of course). A lovely way to round up the whole series. Very well done with the limited sources at hand.

Lovely finale! I don't know what its like for you in California right now but where I live, the temperature is 6 degrees Fahrenheit with winds up to 12 miles per hour and tomorrow is supposed to be Below Zero*. So the Lighthouse Edit for "Bigg Freeze" couldn't have come at a better day for me! I also want to take this opportunity to say that it is clear that the writers loved word play and jokes in the TUGS segments. This edit had so many puns, it could pass for a Stephan Pastis' Pearls Before Swine comic. Another thing, while Lillie's voice was one of the best in Salty's Lighthouse here, as well as TUGS, Lillie's voice seems to get more and more sultry as the episode goes on. It may just be me, but I hear it every time. And the use of the extended theme with the credits over the extended night time harbor footage from the early cuts is arguably better than the iconic sunset with Boomer and the schooner. Maybe if TUGS did continue for more episodes, I think that panning deleted scene footage would be perfect for the credits! That just maybe my favorite part of this video! *That sounds like a great title for a TUGS story.

A beautiful ending to the Lighthouse saga. With the overdose of light and fire puns, especially everyone when Tophat went one too far and everyone snapped at “couldnt help but laugh”, loved it, Warrior’s redemption and yes, the beautiful siren swan song… I applaud you for taking all the clips and vidoes Salty Lighthouse shredded and used in their 40 episodes, ruining an epic series while you unlicky Tug, you created a masterpiece that the original series would be proud of and what Salty Light house shouldve done.

Taking TUGS's bastardized American adaptation, and making something actually good out of the many audio clips from something completely garbage. Well done, Tug. Wondering what will be posted here next after these Lighthouse edits are done?

I really wish that TUGS got more attention, especially in the US, but still, I'm really happy with these edits we got! Thank you for making these, tug! They were a lot of fun to watch and I liked seeing this show with a full American cast! Hats off to Richard Browning too as he did a fantastic job voicing Captain Star!

1. 8:57 Lillie has a different VA?? I thought all the female characters from SL had the same actress. 2. Even in SL, Top Hat is still the best character. 3. This series has been wonderful! Even with some questionable voices and changes, thanks for showing that SL can actually be watchable without the goofy-sounding music and (in my opinion) grating narrator.

This series was great! It really felt like a US dub of TUGS.

How ironic, this episode gets uploaded as there’s a literal blizzard outside my house and bitterly cold temperatures.

This whole edit series has pretty much become the only real way to watch the Salty's Lighthouse versions of TUGS, this feels more like what should have happened. It's also funny to me that you used all different episodes to get the dialouge, it really suggests to me that the real diaougle was hidden all throughout the TUGS segements and you pieced it all together.

and so the it’s the end. At the start having never seen salty’s lighthouse the voices where a bit off putting but now I’ve came to enjoy this take on a childhood favourite, and am a little sad it’s over.

And it’s all done.. I’ll miss this series heavily.

I love the " Somewhere Across the Sea" ending song. Great work on these edits they were good fun to watch. Though there's some episodes I will always prefer the originals. Particularly Munitions & The Regatta. Which I used to have on Vhs as a kid.

I suppose The Lighthouse Edit would be something if Salty's Lighthouse produced TUGS almost similar to the original show that isn't too much like Thomas than the other way around (as in already acting like Thomas the Tank Engine while still being a show about steamboats for most of the time, with some pretty cringe pop culture references and rather poor and botched editing).
