This video shows the departure of TUI Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (G-TUIJ) “Pixie Dust” from Manchester Airport runway 23L. The flight is TOM102 from Manchester UK to Melbourne International Airport, FL.
Flight time was 8 hours with a cruising altitude of 40,000 feet. We pushback from our stand after a delay of 2 hours due to the aircraft been in maintenance. We taxi out to 23L with the departure to the east over Liverpool then Dublin into the Atlantic. Great flight and the first for me on a Dreamliner!
