I was his punching bag for four years and he tried circumcising me with his teeth - Carole | Tuko TV
When Carole Maritim eloped with the man she thought was the love of her life at 21, no one would have told her the same "Tall, Dark and Handsome" man as she calls him, would turn heartless and openly beat her mercilessly in front of her children.
At one point, he even wanted to circumcise her using his teeth saying she was not a "proper" woman. But one day she decided enough was enough

This channel is brainwashing women into modern feminism. Always painting men in the bad light. We very well know there is always two sides of a story. Women are great liars she will narrate how she was mistreated yet can't say even one thing she did wrong. Ohh so let's assume this lady here is an angel she has never hurt a fly..all this is bullcrap. I was raised by a single mother and I hate my mum for not letting me get fatherly love from my dad. This woman reminds me of my hypocrite mum who used to torture my dad both verbally and mentally till he hit her. My dad once told me my son one day you will be a man and you will know the truth. As we speak I got a job and it's my dad who connected me to it. On the other hand my mum dated many men after my dad and all her relationships failed. She was always sad and miserable always resentful. She tried to poison us into hating my father but deep down I knew she was an evil woman. My dad re married and looks younger than my mum who is still miserable and ill. I was glad to move out of that house it was so toxic all the women who congregated there after my dad left talking I'll about him. I hate AL my aunties from my mums side, my small sis has also moved out of that sad house. I want to tell this to all women, once you leave your husband the happiness will be short-lived all the friends who supported you to leave your marriage will leave you and you will die miserable and alone. KEEP ON WITH YOUR FEMINISM AND DIE ALONE AND MISERABLE

I can relate to you! I was raised with a step mum,dad and my step siblings. I got pregnant at the age of 17, *I admit I made a mistake at that time* my dad didn't want to see me at all,no one wants to defend me or talk on my behalf to my dad so that he could allow me to stay. I ended up marrying the father to my kid who was going on with his studies in high school. At there homestead, I became a maid,I used to work so that I could please everyone....😔, And I learnt how to cook over there..... later as months goes on my kid were also growing up and I decided I'd leave there and better myself.....I didn't want to look like 30's or 40 when I was still under 20's *back then......* Then the worst happened, when the father/that guy forced himself on me,,,😢 they know you have no where to go...... they'll take advantage of you at any given time.......you feel 💔 and down but you have no one to talk with so you just zip it in and eats you up..... *People always ask,how can husband rape his own wife?* They do,I can assure that,I've gone through that and worst... is when you end up getting pregnant from it💔😡 After that,I planned how I could leave that homestead, *I was done with everything, maid thing, being used as garbage pit,* my kids were both walking and I knew it was fine for me to think about myself....but before that I was kind of hesitating many times until we had a fight..... *That fight really OPENED my eyes wide* I left my kids for a year, got stable job and I took my 2 lovely girls who are now teenagers...... since 2007 I have never seen him (the father to my kids) and I'm very much ok with it,,he moved on with his life *(After trying to do the impossible to get me back which it couldn't even happen, I had decided and that was it)* *As single mum of 2 teenage daughters,we are very happy with our 3 family,I work hard for them, pay all bills on my own, both kids are studying in boarding, currently they're being home schooled,I bought a piece of plot in kondele, kisumu,I'm from Western Province,my biggest wish is to see that I've managed to built on it, which I'm planning next year God willingly.* *PROBABLY IF I COULD STILL BE IN THAT STUPID MARRIAGE, I COULDN'T HAVE KNOWN MY OWN WOMAN STRENGTH AND BE ABLE TO BETTER MYSELF THIS FAR*

Thank you so much for this comment. I grew up in such a home. My dad would beat my mom for no reason. My brother was the one to try and separate them when he was around. My father would beat us kinyama for something so small. When he wasn't around it was like, now we can finally exhale. School was my solace. I hate my father for being abusive and resentful for my mother for never leaving. My older sister is now enamoured by abusive men. No one talks about the kids how it affects us.

For all its worth I can never thank Lynn Ngugi and Tuko Talks enough, from my Ugandan viewpoint , for the great exposure and transformation work she does , because these are real daily issues many of us ordinary people go through but have no platform to admit because we self blame (our culture) and so too shy to disclose cause others call you a failure . Lynn has made us realise that these things are not only common but also not ashaming to disclose and even escape from . Its not a prison for us to suffer in silence . Its especially harder for us men to admit but happens to many of us .
