It’s pretty amazing how well Supergiant was able to make a literal demigod seem super relatable. Many of us feel or have felt handcuffed to a toxic homelife, especially during adolescence.

Weekly Build Request: Seeing how customizable Zagreus is makes me want to see another super customizable character build, so I would like to see a build for Commander Shepard from Mass Effect. I know it will be a super long build seeing there's six selectable classes in those games but I would watch the heck out of it.

Thanks so much Tulok, a lot of my friends and I love Hades, keep up the good work. (Edit: After seeing the whole build, you're right, Clerics are really strong, and with all the spells they get, it's not difficult to worship an entire pantheon, given that Zagreus is related to them.)

It's always interesting to see or hear other people's Hades runs. Often times they have trouble making builds work that I've found easy, or had a hard time using weapons that I picked up fast, meanwhile they easily get stuff I find hard to work with little effort. It really is an amazing game with so many different play styles.

Loving mother that left his life? Check. Main weapon is a sword(s)? Check. Has an uncle with a splendid beard and elemental affinity? Check... wait, I was listing reasons for Zuko, but we did that... Uncle Iroh build, for a splendid uncle that doesn't go around skeezing with whatever they see, but their nephew has game.

I honestly think this is your best video. The amount of thought put into the build and is excellent as always, but what really puts it over the top for me is the added choices and variety throughout the video. It really demonstrate a deep knowledge of 5e and immense creativity in thinking of how to translate so many abilities and playstyles and knowing how to accommodate variations within those playstyles. This video is also part of what convinced me to try Cleric, and I can say I've been enjoying it. Also the PHB does give some advice on what domains fit with certain greek gods, though keep in mind it came out before the xanathar and tasha domains came out

Coming back to Sauron, he doesn't have to be a "skyscraper that casts scrying". You can try to to make an earlier version of him, which might be what people actually wanted. To do that, you'd need a build that: - can make high quality magic items - can cheat death - uses shapeshifting abilities for both close combat and subterfuge - has a high charisma and can crush his enemies' will with a song.

You always play the best gag songs at the beginning. I wasn't expecting Tough to be a God.

Honestly a build I'd die for is a build for Asura from Asuras Wrath. Learning how a machine-god man, who destroyed the creator of the universe for making his daughter cry, would fit in dnd would be amazing.

Reborn could be a possible race. Advantage on Death Saves is Death Defiance, the man never sleeps anyways and when he does its always a traumatic flashback. Also it ties into the fact that he was stillborn.

Tulok is on fire! Another one of your best builds here. Cleric was a pretty standard choice, but your reasoning with the spell preparation was perfect. It also have a really good sinergy with Monk. I would never thought it would be possible to incorporate so many boons and weapons on a single build, but you nailed it! It really play like Zagreus, you wake up, pick up a weapon, prepare your boons and go! Edit: Wait, Zagreus dont sleep.

The day this build came out, I beat Theseus and the minotaur for the first time. Clearly, the blessing of Gregreus was what I needed.

I played with my friend a dnd game where we all were from hades, I made zagreus a bloodhunter with the patron stuff. In the game you literally throw your blood in the enemies and can possibly curse them (Also i died at the end of every session so I could change my patrons and weapons cuz the GM allowed it)

The primordial goddess Gaia would have worked for making Zagreus into an acronym, but then you'd just stuck on one of the later letters.

Seeing a build for a demi-god just makes me want a percy Jackson build even more
