Salima Hashmi is a Pakistani painter artist, former college professor, anti-nuclear weapons activist and former caretaker minister in Sethi caretaker ministry. She has served for four years as a professor and the dean of National College of Arts.

Today my son told me that how Faiz Ahmed Faiz change his life he is now just only 14 years old but he acts ho positively he is not interested in video games or in other online activities but he loves to write poetries he loves to Listen Faiz authories I ever noticed that he is so polite he never noticed bad things in others he likes to spend most of the times with his friends he never bycots to anyone after noticing a year I asked him that how could you change your life so much you hated western dresses and wearing our Own's why you become so polite why you listen to Old Poets like Faiz and Faraz why ??? so he answered me that Mom I'm so inspired with the biography of Faiz Ahmed Faiz and I wanted to work for my culture,nation,country and for humanity. so I asked him that how you do it how you become so nationalist because at the time we are living you are very different from others! so he answered me that Faiz Changed my life so much And there is no any doubt that faiz was a Revolutinary Personality This is done by only Faiz Biography! This was a great pleasure of Faiz on me

میڈم سلیمہ سےپہلاتعارف فیض صاحب کے حوالے سے تھا۔1980ء کےاواخر میں ”این سی اے“کےداخلہ ٹیسٹ میں کراچی میں پہلی ملاقات ہوٸی۔این سی اے میں داخلےکےبعد تواستانی اورشاگردکا رشتہ قاٸم ہوامگر ایک استانی سے بڑھکرتعلق تھا۔وہ ایک استاد سے بڑھکر بہن کی مانندتھیں۔فیض صاحب سےقربت بھی ان کی توسط سےہوٸی۔ منیزہ ہاشمی آپ کےانٹرویولینےکا انداز بالکل منفرد ہے آپ باتوں باتوں میں شخصیت کوسہل انداز میں ایک عام ناظر اورہنرور دونوں کےلیے مفیدکردیتیں ہیں ۔اس کیلیے بلاشبہ آپ کی ستاٸش بھی لازم ہے۔

Not sure how long this interview done, Salima is absolutely correct, this is age of women. Its already established in more advanced West & East Asia - it will slowly spread in the rest of the world

Ali Murtaza, Waheed Murad’s picture is not in the opening montage, possibly because Muneeza Sahiba never interviewed him. These interviews, I think were conducted in mid 90s to early 2000s, Waheed Murad passed away in 1983.

Signature tone of this programme is boring and long. Interview programme like this invariably ends abruptly. Daughter of great Urdu poet, Salima cannot pronounce 'Q' which is sad. Also, a sister interviewing her sister sounds and looks very artificial. Salima's Urdu is laced with incorrect grammar, like she says "aap ye kaam ker rahe ho" instead of 'hain'.

Your observation and take on it is correct. Not only their grammar and pronunciation are incorrect but also the interviewer and the interviewee are real sisters who are not only continuing to cash their father's brand name but also promoting and praising each other to seek cheap publicity as usual. It is not only misuse of a forum but also against the ethics of intellectualism. I am pretty sure many commentators of the same class and club who are bound to praise them won't like and agree with what I wrote but who can deny the facts. It is all about elitism and the chosen ones in Pakistan who love to show off and promote each other to dominate the Pakistani society.

Envy is not a good quality. Accomplish something in your own life instead of criticising others out of frustration and jealousy. And she has interviewed many others but you can't see that out of blind hate.
