After 4 babies you learn THIS IS THE PRECIOUS MOMENTS you let them get frustrated and plant that seed " They can do it" with minimal help.....

That’s hilarious! Your family is EXACTLY like mine. Totally and completely the same. That’s something I can see myself my husband my brothers and aunt sitting all around the bed watching my baby. And when she was trying it was all of us saying the same thing then when she finally rolled over we all yelled like if it was a touchdown for a football game. Good job Ester!!

Good job baby girl! And congratulations to mom and dad for letting her do it on her own. I know it's not easy to watch your baby fuss and struggle but that was when she was working hard.

So many people on this section disapproving the parents actions! I began tummy time around 3 weeks after delivery (belly cord could heal) and because of it she was an early crawler, walker n can now swim independently at age 2....but that’s cause I took her swimming at 3 months

GOOD JOB parents, you went the distance and didn't touch pull or give up. Being vocal is normal its not torture this is problem with a pamper and powder and pacify at every movement and you didn't prevent or delay your child, kudos to you!

Put yourself in her line of view so she cah see you. Thats all she cares about. And amazingly, you dont have to do anything to get her to lift her head, roll over or any of those other milestones. She will do them without any help from you, harsh as that sounds. They just grow. Without our help or interference. But i love how you young parents are aware of all these things now.

This tummy time for child is very cruel technic for baby. Lay down small child on tummy and parents think they are very intelligent. To me they belong to group of devil and demon. Poor child is so helpless. He or she can't object. God be with you little sweethearts.

My kids are 38 and 40. They grew up just fine without required tummy time. If they were on their tummy and then rolled over then great. If they were on their back then rolled to their tummy, then great. If they started to crawl, then great. Don’t push. Nature will take its course in time. Parents, you’re doing this for you. Baby is frustrated and unhappy. Not a good combo for accomplishment. Let it come when they’re ready. It’ll happen. It always does.

Right! Not to say anything bad about the parents but, just like you, my 3 children all adults now with children of their own did very well with everything. There were no scheduled or timed tummy times nor did they sleep only on their backs. They slept comfortably both ways and at times on their side and they are all very healthy and strong. Pediatrician said after eating whether they burped or not it was best to put them down on their belly just in case of vomiting so that they wouldn’t choke. Not judging the parents, To each his own. 😊

This is a very stupid technique applied in name child health. This makes baby very uncomfortable it appears. Let parents go on their tummy if they fancy it so much. I hate to discomfort helpless child. It is cruelty to a beautiful baby.

This is so mean. Before this tummy time all kids were just fine without it. If it’s so important now and you feel it must be done, make it comfortable for the baby. If she’s screaming her head off, try another position or try again later. Some people have no common sense.

bob Marshal I began tummy time at this age and my daughter gained strong truck/head muscles, this crawled at 6 months n walked at 10 months, I also took her swimming at 3 months and now she swims independently at age 2 so no harm done at all

If u help her (and thatswhat she wants) she'll wait 4 the help everytime...u gotta let her do it on her own...it may take a couple minutes but babies r ALOT stronger than u think
