As a modified Golf R Estate owner the pop and bang map on that car would absolutely do my bonce in. Couldn't live with that every day 🙉 It's not even a nice sound, every time I put my foot down in the Golf it makes me miss the 5 pot from the old Focus ST I used to have.

Please Please Please make a classy modified car series, something subtle and can be daily driven, but blistering fast

While it may be a monster that exhaust is too much. Something about the tuning or the way that engine sounds normally just doesn't work with the pops and bangs.

Iv got a MK6 golf R i test drove a 7R golf thr other day was 460BHP the thing i didn’t like was the gas Pedal seemed to be really laggy,like i touched the throttle a little and it’s like there was nothing there,on the motor way i opened it up and definitely wasn’t impressed,my MK6 R is only 388bhp and mine felt quicker,throttle response on mine is there straight away,so not sure if it was the one i test drove or if there all like it but if they are then definitely ain’t the car for me,to witch iv now decided to put more money into mine for a bigger turbo and a few other bits so I think the MK6 R is more aggressive and more fun
