FINALLY TUNED HER!! DIFFERENT GRAAVY!! Have been running it for about 1 week prior to this video so will be doing an in depth review shortly consisting of 0-60mph, mid range punch, whether the car can handle it and more!! Anything else you want to know? Stay tuned and stay safe! God Bless TW

Hey TW. Great video. Just done exactly the same with mine to stage 1. Definitely going stage 2 but 'probably' not as far as HPFP. Any plans to get custom mapping via the bm3? Not heard much about whether it's worth it. I know stage 1 is pretty solid but are there any numbers in the dashboard that should be monitored to make sure it's running smoothly?

Daniel Hollingworth deffo a nice little upgrade..unfortunately there’s not any built in apps that show accurate info...only option is data log using OBD/WiFi device and appropriate apps 🙏🏽

Only just come across your channel and I have no idea if you have already done this. But I did 20% reduction of torque in gear 1 and 10% reduction in gear 2 with my 440i. It's an animal. The M140i looks great 😆.

Had a plug and play myself, liked it until I got a hard ecu remap from Celtic Tuning, wow the difference is muuud. Ran around 410bhp with the plug and play and then ran 450bhp and actually got Dyno results of 455bhp with the Celtic Tuning. Torque increased by 60lb ft, so much better.

Great Video, the dry humour works well! Quick one - I had an M140i and then recently swapped it to an M4 Comp. The difference in the power is quite impressive and the delivery in the M140i was actually (for me) a better power delivery, it did seem to pick up quicker than the M4...but then the brute force of the M4 takes over. One thing I will say...be careful - look at changing the M140i brakes. You're putting more power down, and you'd be surprised and the difference in the force needed to apply the brakes. The M140i brakes are good...but the M4 brakes are like hitting a tree. Big difference there. Keep up the vids!

I've changed the front and rears in an earlier video...running some ferrodos now which are better than stock albeit at the expense of more brake squeal...not sure what i'll put on next but the squeal is quite annoying lol! @@TimWilliamsHD stage 1 makes it feel like a different car. I have a M135i stage 1 and Pipercross pannel filter, completely different drive compared to stock 👌

You always here a45 and rs3 this and that but these m140i's are rapid infact it will probably smoke both of them on a rolling race nice spec👌🏾

Theres videos up against golf r a45 audi rs3 and m140 the 40i only loses by a little because the rs3 is tuned which says it all

You need to get yourself to PCW exhaust mods :) I have had my 140 (pre-PPF) done by him and BM3 stage 1 and it’s incredible ! Tempted to go catless and stage 2 but so so happy with the car at the moment !!!

Thanks for the informative video. I was going to get mine remapped in the next couple of weeks. I might try this programme myself now. Can an amateur use it without problem? Fitting a 200 cell sports cat first. Looking forward to it.

New viewer mate quality stuff, liked and Subscribed!! I am Considering getting an M140i myself just a quick question. What’s the handling like with the stage 1? I’ve test drove a stock M140i recently and it handles really well considering it’s RWD and a chassis of the 1 series with a lot of power. Does the car slip out easily? Dry or wet track? Any feed back would be brilliant!

If you use the stage 1 98 obtane. Can you still use 95 it it now and then? Or will that f**k it up?

Mate did you have any issues with you enet to obd cable? Bm3 obd agent doesn't seem to be recognising my car. Its saying no enet cable detected, something to do with ip addresses etc. Any help?

😆 so if it took you a week to get over it how come I can’t be shocked for the first 2 minutes of driving it? Mate, I drive this car sometimes everyday so I fully know how it feels so the added boost pressure even at stage 1 took me by surprise..sure I drive loads of other cars for reviews etc but not daily enough to know it in and out if you get my drift.. Here in the UK with one of these running stage one you're already faster than like 95% of cars on the road 😂. We can't all afford super cars so these are the next best thing! Pure drivers cars, no gimmicks.

Running stage 2 now and have left them as standard with my sports cat as it’s a very expensive item to replace 😆

Tim Williams Nice! I just ordered the Active Autowerke 300 cel sport cat and yes they’re very expensive. Do you know if it is safe to disable cold start cat heating with a high flow cat? Or since we are not catless we need the cold start or it will damage the cat? Also what’s the max aggression we can run? Thanks! Looking to go bm3 soon!
