Farm Boy, if you clean the neck on the 9012, frequently, such as every 2-3 days, the skimmer will be more efficient and remove more organics from your tank. I own a 9410, and the cup gets junked up after 36 hours. Although its a revolving, non-stop maintenance the Tunze removes so much waste with so little electricity used. Thanks for the video. It sounds like loud, how loud is it? I have a Red Sea Nano Reefer in my bedroom I want to add a micro skimmer in the sump. its about 6inch water level.

have you had any issues with micro bubbles from these skimmer? I have a large rear sumped tank and I'm thinking of upgrading from my tunze 9004 to this.
