At :12 you can see the crack right in the middle of the Y of the manifold. That manifold looks like it got white hot. Did you have to do a hot shot down or run it hard? There is a lot of money spent in this video. Good luck with the new equipment Eiver2 Trucker. Stay safe.

Motortube lot of money cause it was done in a shop. That could of been done in a parking lot with basic hand tools he probably has on his truck. The 12.7 is the easiest motor to work on hands down.

12.7s are known for the intake cracking, I picked a 98 model shaker with a 12.7 and the manifold cracked on me after 2 months of owning. Intake is the first upgrade you do on a series 60... detroit series 60 all ash over from heat cheap metals used.... my buddy went through 4 of them before he upgraded to a ceramic coated one and has had that problem since...

I do heavy haul with a freightliner that has the x15 cummins, 605hp with 2050 torque. Im sure he is right in that area.

If only USA will increased the total GVW to about 55 or up to 61 Metric tons (120k-133k pounds) The 600hp would had sound mean with a pair of B-Trains (Canaidian) or a tri of quad axld dry van/Reefer b ox

Im running a 12.7 , borg Werner turbo & bully dog manifold with a Pittsburgh power box. 2150 torque. 600hp

PDI turbo, big boss manifold, cam and marine injectors, and balancer, straight pipes, and a Diesel Freak tune... 621hp to the ground. I have 137 HP loss through the driveline, so 758 HP at the crank. 600 is stupid easy with a tune and no hardware. The guy Erich out of Pennsylvania can remap the entire ecm for 650 HP with only the 702 turbo, at the crank. You can always tell who's an "expert" when they say "there's no such thing, I've never seen it". lmfao
