Fun fact: the race would've ended under caution because of that crash. Gagne was in the lead at the time, but he was in the process of wrecking which sends him to the back of the field. Turbo was running second, so the win would go to him. So even if the caution was thrown, Turbo still would've won. But I guess then we wouldn't have the "epic" finale.

When my mom suggested that I'd watch this with her, I did compare Turbo's issues with... well, if he was an actual car: (or in this case, an Indy Car) 0:27 & 0:43 due to his damaged "Engine", it ran the risk stalling, which it did those 2 times. And subsequently forcing Turbo to "restart" his "engine" 3:35 The "Engine" is now totaled. Although the Startar and whatnot seems to still work, the damage on the engine itself too severe to even start anymore.

Turbo takes the lead!!* Turbo's pit crew, Tito, Whiplash, Burn, Skidmark, Smoove Move, White Shadow, Bobby, Kim-Ly and Paz were celebrating and cheering on for Turbo's lead. *Skidmark: Snail-style, baby!* Skidmark and Smoove high fived each other with their eye antennas but their eyes went red. *Skidmark: Bad idea.. bad idea.* Back with the race, Turbo was going as fast as he can; away from Gagné. *Announcer #1: The white flag's in the air, as we enter the 200th and final lap.* *Announcer #2: Turbo weaving between lapped cars like a snail possessed; he is DETERMINED to hold on to his lead!* Gagné was becoming infuriated by a fact he never thought he could comprehend: after years of countless victories in previous runs of the Indy 500, he was about to be beaten by a snail. Turbo tried to dodge all the metal parts, until he slid onto a metal ramp piece which projected him into the air. Turbo was sent flying to where Gagné was in the crashing scene, where Gagné seized his opportunity to take Turbo's shell. He reached his hand out, taking the shell, revealing Turbo's energy-leaking wound, and cracked older maroon shell. Turbo, Gagné and other racers ahead of them suffered a giant crash. Chet, Turbo's older brother, couldn't do anything to save him. He watched helplessly in the glass he was sealed in. *Chet: THEO!* Multiple casualties went on, and nothing could be heard but the sound of screeching cars, metal bashing, and metal parts breaking, and leaving a heavy impact on the track as a whole; it went on for a few seconds, until the smoke finally cleared, revealing the aftermath and school of destroyed cars. Tito watched from the pit crew area. *Tito: TURBO!!* Cars were destroyed and broken, but luckily, all of the human racers seemed to be fine, getting out of their cars. *Announcer #1: The track is hakced up all the way down the front straight. It's complete gridlock down there.* Gagné's pit crew went to go check on him. But something was off. Turbo was nowhere to be seen. *Skidmark: I can't see 'em. I can't see 'em!* However, Tito was the first to notice Turbo, but not in a healthy condition. In fact, he was in no condition at all. Tito started to tear up. Turbo had been crushed underneath one of the cars. He was dead. *Tito: TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!* *Chet: THEO!!! NO!!!* Tito ran onto the track and grabbed Turbo's lifeless body. Tito rushed back to the pit crew, showing them Turbo's dead body. Everyone was shocked and began to tear up. Turbo's shell was completely broken, it looked like a cracked bowl. And Turbo was leaking with snail sludge. All the fans started exclaiming and standing up. Chet saw Turbo's dead body, sobbing his eyes out. *Chet: Theo..... no... Turbo... I'm so sorry.... I couldn't save you in time............. at least my brother died doing what he loves.* Gagné got up on the track, with a few bruises here and there, but other then that, he was still alive and OK. Everyone started booing Gagné, as he retreated from the track. *Gagné's crew chief: Guy, where are you going?!* Gagné's pit crew followed him, as Turbo's death was mourned. *Announcer #1: Well, folks, it seems we have a critical casualty out on the track. The race is officially called off, everyone please leave the track immediately.* All the fans began leaving. Turbo was dead, but Chet was right. At least he died doing the thing he loves.
