@@cornfedboost yeah I think you are right! Have you checked your old one for twist or runout? even if mine broke as long as it all stays inside I won’t cry! I’m not going to change it unless I have to and I’ve got a heap of spare ones plus one that’s polished for later anyway at the power mine makes it seems to last pretty good,after bananafyied rods and couple years of thrashing this one’s still straight and it was a crap casting

Sorry have to say if you are stroking it to 4.2 you may as well put a V8 in it , I admire the idea how far can I push an ecotec. But really it is a whole lot of money down the drain when you can just step up a gear go an LS3 and turbo or supercharge
