If I could get my hands on another EG coupe I'd seriously love to do a JDM D15B VTEC turbo build again. I had so much fun with my EJ8 Civic coupe when it was a D15B with an eBay turbo kit (pieced together) with a Walbro 255, Siemens 660cc injectors, tuned on Crome. It was alot of fun and would rev to the moon without valvetrain upgrades. I would take out modified WRXs and Mazdaspeed 3s on 8 psi. It was so much fun.

I encourage everyone to write your congressman or woman about the rpm act! I did and they emailed me back saying they are a co sponsor of the rpm act! What the EPA is doing is a far over reach and the language in the bill is very vague and broad. They don't even really understand what they are doing either. That bill could very well put someone like Hunter out of business along with many of our other favorite youtube car channels!!

Hey I have a question, i have a GS Integra and I’m wondering if it’s better to VTEC swap it or just boost the GS engine. What do you recommend?

I would say just boost the gs engine. From what I understand putting a vtec head on a non vtec block really stresses the motor due to the higher rpms. Unless you manage to get ahold of a full vtec long block you will probably run into issues relatively frequently.

Boost would be more bang for your buck. The price of vtec heads rn is ridiculous. Just get a relatively cheap and decent turbo kit, upgrade the wastegate, fuel, and cooling. Then you've got a reliable 230-285hp. Which is a pretty good deal of power for even a bone stock teg suspension wise

@@HunterTuned I can get them for about $6.50 a piece if I pull them myself. If I could sell them to you for $8 a piece or so, plus shipping does that still leave enough meat on the bone for you to make a profit off them? There are a couple places around me that I can get them from.

Chump gas is cheap gas 87 octane (regular). 91 octane is mostly premium Grade gas but some places have 94 octane. There’s no e85 around me at all so not sure on it.

Its cheap to get 250 whp on stock internals boosted... do it. It won't be as fast as a built N/A but you'll still have fun.

Just use a 3an oil feed line on the cheap turbo and you’ll be fine. Tuned on ethanol e85 you can make 300+ whp easily reliably
