It may not be classic like recent mammootty films, Howeverr my entire family enjoyed this fun action ride thoroughly!! A clean mass masala entertainer from Mammootty after a long period. Something to cheer up, something to clap and augh.

Wooh!!! A helluah of action packed film in Malayalam and oh man this guy at this age carrying a strong presence that too in raw action is commendable.. When other of his age indulge in action movies in other languages u will be continously haunted of their age and the villains also would look weak.. But this is no compromise and villains are equally strong and this movie could still be enacted by this man's son but nobody can carry his charisma in such movies.. But I would feel tad disappointed that only post interval his really connection to story was established which was disappointing pre interval was just some cliche which was hardly related to main crux of the story.. The director have more focused to give a good buildup for the fast pace story of second half in the first half... Very good to see a very powerful villain whom the hero eventually had to fight but only in the end and till the he was shown really ruling the city as he claimed... Nevertheless a good entertainer which is worth watch in theatre

Great review, exactly what i felt about the movie.

There has been a dark underworld movement excessively promoting all types of Mammooty movies in Kerala after Mohanlal bagged Padmabhushan and reached box office heights through Pulimurugan and Lucifer. Ofcourse Mammooty deserved Padmabhushan before Mohanlal but for the incumbent government who also gave him a best actor (special jury) in national awards (undeserved). All these might have instigated the mammootty camp , the remnants we see in Kerala today(excessive promotion of Mammooty and hate against Mohanlal). However personally I don’t think there is any enmity between the two stalwarts. Having said that some of Mammooty’s choices off late were nothing less than brilliant !

Everyone talks about beeshma parvam , amal neerad and mammootty. but no one talks about devadutt shaji who written screenplay n dialogs for beeshma. he who made it cult mass movie with his lively dialogs one liners and logically high screenplay ..its nelson the writer who made jailer success..the writer is always the backbone ..and here WRITER alone is the main culprit.

It may not be the usual quality of a Mammoottykampany movie, but it's a highly enjoyable and fun-filled theatrical experience

You mentioned samurai fighter s falling from the sky all of a sudden but they are the personal bodyguard s of the villain and shots are there in which the villain is seen practising with them. You didnt notice. Might be busy taking down notes!! . Also in a mass comedy action film every one knows whats happening and how things are contrived to fall in place. Such cinematic liberties toh banta hai . its a good entertainer overall.. Yes the hero doesnt get injured..but character stayed a layman jeep driver who happened to have some overpowering strength..

Spot on review 💯 Turbo was a tedious watch apart from climax action scenes even which had bad choreography but although saved due to cuts. Felt Turbo as a miss from Mammootty Kampany among their previous good films.

Vyshakh is simply incapable of mixing any class with mass. Even the much-hyped Pulimurugan was such a mediocre movie. The so-called amazing action sequences are created by some "imported" action assistants who fly around very aesthetically when the old superstars hit them. It just creates an illusion that the hero is performing some stunts. Bheeshmaparvam is one of the few recent instances where mass is executed with some real class. It reiterates the same old point - you cannot make a good movie without a good script (even if the story is not new).

Not all movie needs to be made intellectually. Fir me this was a stress buster with right amount of jokes. Didn’t have to think anything about what heck happens next. Do you review a salman khan movie? Heck you shouldn’t. Don’t waste your time. Just do your cliche interviews.

I would like to agree with you here in terms of the standard masala template movies. But I think this is a good strategy because you need a combination of different movies to hit the cinemas so that audience continues to have a theatrical experience. With the trailer, it was pretty clear this movie is purely to celebrate Mammootty's stardom and it shouldnt rely on script.
