Oh yeah. Found out today I still had some major boost leaks. I’m hoping that mixed with the oil is what’s still causing it to die when I let off the throttle quickly. Still impressed with it. My prop was at 12 degrees without the turbo and it held the engine back to 9500 or so. I pitched it to 15 and it spins it up to redline so fast. The 4 blade I think will be pitched steeper than 12 I should have way more out of the hole and top speed when it’s done.

The build? If so it’s a 13x7 dragonfly hull I built all the rigging and added poly. The engine is from a 2006 Yamaha apex snowmobile. The gearbox is skytrax USA. Propeller is a whirlwind Excalibur. @@swamplandoutdoors I have a rotax 582 in this exact same hull still and I know what you mean. It’s super impressive for what it is but definitely leaves you wanting more. If you’re looking for an awesome running super reliable boat this thing was awesome even stock. I have a lot of videos before the turbo and it was a great setup. My hulls are 7x13s I have 1/4” poly on this one as well. I have a video explaining the build before the turbo also if you want the link let me know. I’m going to be building another one similar to this one but leave it NA for reliability to take out with this one.

The final gear ratio is 3.83:1 so the prop is spinning 2,610 rpms at 10k engine rpms. This thing is good to go

Do you run airboats?

@@ridinreeds makes sense. Great job on the build. No, buddy had one a couple of years ago and I remember folks always saying the prop self destructs at 3000 rpms. Rule of thumb. I know there's more into the mathematics and physics of it all. But good advice

I think one of the coolest things for me doing this is seeing how far away the videos make it. I’m out of Utah. What state are you seeing this from?
