Did you know more than 80% of the world’s wastewater is currently discharged into the environment untreated, causing diseases that kill 842,000 people every year, including about 300,000 children under the age of five. That is the equivalent of three large airplanes full of children crashing every day.
To achieve a water-secure world the U.S. government unveiled a water strategy that is intended to expand the availability of safe drinking water and sanitation conditions for people throughout the world as safe water and sanitation are fundamental to human health, economic development, peace and security.
It is key for governments to collaborate with other nations and key stakeholders to expand access to sustainable drinking water and wastewater services by adapting TurboCoag© patented single system technology to treat or recover wastewater discharge before the predicted two-thirds of the world's population live in water-stressed conditions by 2025.
