I noticed thar you didn't cut your wall panel, so it's past your stud. Usually you start from the second stud as that keeps you on the 16" or 24" stud centers. Also i couldn't tell if your bldg came with inside corners. They usually don't. If not just cut a stud same length and 3 small blocks one top and bottom and center and nail to the existing stud. That way you have place to nail both ends of panels where they meet at the corner. Hopefully that wattage consumption comes down a good hit once your done and fully insulated. Also when you insulated your ceiling be sure and leave some dead air space as to keep from having condensation. It's coming along nicely. Looking forward to the next video. the Idle consumption is more then likely the control board just waiting on a signal from the remote.

Yeah wish it was a little lower. Maybe it will drop more if tested again with more time shut off.

Nice video. In eco mode, it uses a lot, in my opinion. I have a pioneer that uses 180 watts in eco mode

Just had an Innovair 9k btu that's suppose to be 38 seer delivered last week. Haven't gotten it installed yet. DavidPoz installed one and on his channel and gives it a good review. Still working on my off grid home. Slow and steady wins the race.

Only thing I did different was to leave the gage hooked up to get the operating pressure with the system running and wrote it down on the side of the condenser. Don't go taking cat naps in that cozy little shed now! 😂

If you add a pre-filter sprayed with filter spray to all of your mini splits they will stay cleaner and last longer. I use Blue and White Air Filter Media Roll , MERV6 Polyester Media - 25" Wide.

So on the inlet you just put the pre filter on it. Will it possibly restrict air flow which could harm something else. Making it work harder to pull in air? I don’t know just thinking through it. Pros and possible cons.

The pressure drop is minimal as long as you clean and recoat with filter spray when it gets a little dirt build up. The plastic screens are inadequate and allow a lot of dirt buildup on coil and blower wheel. That leads to mold growth and the airflow restriction you mentioned. I cover the whole top of my three mini splits with the filter. Fujitsu 9K 33SEER, Airtemp (Gree) 9k 30.5 SEER and Ameristar (Gree) 9k 22SEER. No problems. I also use NuCalgon evaporator foaming coil cleaner twice a year. All materials available on Amz.

looks good Rodney. I'll definitely consider this one once I pull the trigger on a mini split. For now I'm happy using the Midea window unit mini split that Will recommends. 6000XP powering it all like a champ.

You forgot the grounding conductors and it looks like you just ran the THHN into the wall space without any raceway.. if you did it needs to be some kind of raceway like flex or EMT ..

Like I said it is temporary with this setup until I get my permanent setup for the building. Grounding rod was ordered but will get it Monday. So for testing it works for me. Thanks
