This sounds like an action taken by the ground crew not the government of Turkiye. So, they took the person needing medical attention as well they should have done. But the fuel, yes, go to your friends in Greece, why Rhodes, they could've gone to Cyprus, it would've been closer and probably a much bigger airport since the Israeli War Planes use it.

Mind you; they didn’t deny the emergency landing, they didn’t board the plane with assault squads pointing guns at the passengers (like israeli security forces did to turkish journalists in Israel), they didn’t refuse medical care to the patient. All they did was; they couldn’t grant refuelling as quickly as they normally do because of the very sensitive Hamas - Israeli conflict since the turkish gov’ was already under scrutiny at home for directly or indirectly provoding fuel (trade) to Israel. So when the pilot asked to clear the runway to refuel in Greece instead; permission was granted as well. But for some reason the israeli medias react to this incident as if the turks first shot down the plane, then rayyy-pd all the survivors on board then stole their purses lol. I am very, very critical of the turkish government too (where do I even begin?) but IMHO israelis need to take a look at how they treat other nations citizens in their own country before getting all self-righteous about minor incidents like that.

That's what I gathered in the translation from the Greek news site I follow. They were going to refuel the plane after the delay but the pilot insisted on flying to Greece instead. Why? I think he was paranoid that the Turks might do something to the plane to compromise its safety, and decided to refuel in a friendly country just to be safe. There's no reason to make another stop if they were intending to fuel the plane.

Those who curse an entire nation will also be cursed. Plane was granted emergency landing. Medical care provided. Just the refueling was delayed (hours not days) because of the tense Hamas-Israeli conflict. When the pilot asked to take off to refuel in Greece; permission granted. And you saying this was ”cursing” Israel? This? I remember not too long ago; israeli security forces in Israel soaking turkish journalists in dirty (sewege?) water and literally verbally insulting them; telling the turkish journalists they are not welcome in Israel. What about that? Will Israel be cursed for that act which was much worse and demeaning then the treatment Israeli plane received by the turks? I think not. Because my country is not above other countries. A few israeli securitymen do not represent the behaviour of the entire State of Israel and I refuse to condemn/curse (or even imply doing so) a whole country for such an incident. At the end of the day; you make your own mind up about things.
