Turkey Grinder 'Hungry U Pizza' copycat, with vegan options!
2 hoagy rolls, preferably strong, outdoor rolls or sturdy French bread
6 slices, Fresh Mozzarella or grated (or vegan substitute. Miyoko's is great.)
6 slices, deli turkey meat (or Tofurkey for vegan)
Your preference Mayonnaise, Miracle whip (or Vegan mayo for vegan)
Equal parts chopped tomato, onion & pickle. I prefer Baby Banquet garlic dills.
Your favorite Italian oil and vinegar dressing to cover the veggie mixture, or home made.
Marinate the veggies in the dressing at least 1 hour, or overnight if you want.
Bake the turkey, cheese hoagies on 400 until hot to the middle. About 15 minutes. Cover with foil near the end if the bread gets crispier than you want.
