The one in green should've been in the middle. She was the best dancer.
@nativenewyorker3144 Жыл бұрын
Technically red should’ve been in the middle since that’s the order from the musical.

@@nativenewyorker3144 Dancer in the Green was by far the best dancer and should've been placed in the middle

@@FreedomFighter2112 I just mean that I’d prefer if they did the original order. Plus I’m my opinion red brought more energy plus she’s the shortest so it would’ve looked better

Amazing this. The musicians loved it as you can see. Written by the late BURT BACHARACH (composer) and the late HAL DAVID (lyricist). the greatest songwriting team ever. This song is from their only succesfull broadway musical Promises, Promises!

Very enjoyable. GREAT dancing [in a confined space], brilliant singing and playing by the band. Music by the incredible maestro BB [and superb lyrics by HD]. Whenever I hear the best pieces by Bacharach I go into a kind of tearful trance - full of awe and wonder at just how inventive he was and the sheer brilliance and beauty of his musical imagination. A unique and timeless talent.

TERRIFIC to see the whole band behind those magic orchestrations! Also GREAT to hear it just a wee bit slower with all the words! And of course that choreography!

The brilliant orchestration is by Jonathan Tunick.

Good effort. Red should have been Donna McKechnie. The first trumpet player slays! 🎺 Well done!

Tsk they freaking RUINED it by modifying the iconic jingle bells choreography.

As much as this is performed well, the lyrics are atrocious, and just completely appropriates Christmas, really just stuffing your face with dead bird- how lovely.
@whiter4bbit9304 жыл бұрын
Hdhjsj this isn’t their song, it’s from a musical called promises, promises. In this number the three girls are absolutely wasted. Try not to take it so seriously
@abzyfabzy60554 жыл бұрын
@@whiter4bbit930 I didn't think it was their song, I know they're doing a cover, but they're performing it by itself, without the rest of the musical, implying that they're using it as a Christmas song. Taking any religious holiday and just referring to stuffing your face with the food associated with it, and silly things like 'snowy-blowiness', reducing it down to such shallow things is not even feelings of warmth etc even if the actual religion is not mentioned is disrespectful. Granted in this case it was because the characters were drunk, but the point I'm getting at is that this song was performed out of context, becoming an actual Christmas song itself.

Abzyfabzy they are doing it as a performance piece. it’s not a christmas song, go watch the original
@chrisvergara9893 жыл бұрын
Abzyfabzy This song was performed along with the rest of the show, in concert format. So it wasn’t done out of context.
