Wow the whole group were fantastic but the blonde girl in the middle - Donna McKechnie would be proud! Great performance! Special kudos also to those 3 girls doing the routine on those tables ! Great dancing

One of the best recreations on YT. Michael Bennet created such a classic choreopgrapy for this song that whenever someone tries something different it doesn't work.

Exactly! Like the 2010 Broadway revival of Promises, Promises was a horrible version of choreography for "Turkey Lurkey Time"

Thank god this group was dedicated to doing all the original choreography and pulled it off almost flawlessly, unlike the 2010 Broadway revival of Promises, Promises, which failed miserably at doing some kind of alternate messed up version of "Turkey Lurkey Time".

A fantastic rendition…such a tough number! The energy starts at 100 and doesn’t let up for the rest of the song!

That’s a lot of practice. These people were really together no matter how much the cost savings in this minimalist production. Kudos. Great job.

It's color blind casting. The idea is: Rather than being outright cliche and casting an Asian woman and a Latino woman to represent the respective named characters (which were strategically chosen for the reason to have more diverse races be blatantly represented in shows back in the 1960s when this play was created), you just cast people in those roles no matter what their race, thus avoiding any unintended racial/racist connotations/implications. I can understand the idea to a certain degree but it's a flawed concept because it doesn't completely make sense. Trying so hard to do something that avoids making something about race in such an obvious way just makes it about race anyway. Changing the original last names from the show to more generic names that could fit different races could be the solution that works better, but they don't want to do that.

@@jcrowell8086how does that view align with all the whining people did about casting the new and inferior West Side Story? They certainly didn't find it cliché to cast Latinas in Latina roles, in fact they were militant about demanding it and pretending they were correcting some 60 year old profound societal wrong. They got so caught up in their PR campaign about "fixing" 60 year old casting decisions that they alienated audiences who loved the '61 version and had the biggest flop of the decade coz people were just not buying what they were selling.

Bravo! You really got it! It's too bad the early part of the number didn't have the original staging for the other "employees." Having them gathered in closer added to the atmosphere. Bravo Nikki and Donna.

The guy really butchered the introduction. He didn't tell us that the Christmas Committee had asked the Idea Committee for an idea for the Christmas party. What a miss!

Right?! Totally. If your dancers can't cut it at tempo, don't do it--and if your audio's going to be this wretched, don't bother recording it. It works okay once it gets going, but these dancers definitely deserve clearer audio for this, as they clearly worked their butts off--and great job from that trumpet player!
