I’m from Missouri and chased the thunder chickens growing up but now live in Montana where I am chasing Merriams with a trad bow. Spent this past weekend chasing them through the Breaks and did about 20 miles. Great footage and thanks for reminding me of those hardwoods and gulch gobblers.

Hayden, if you want to get out of the office and into the field more, you gotta be the guy to jump in and get those waders. Warb knew he messed up, but he was already across and dry. You were going to have to get wet either way. Either jump in and get the waders or skip across without them. Warb would not have to get wet. You missed a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to look good in Warb's eyes. Be a go-getter. You gotta learn to take care of the boss without him asking you to. A good boss won't ask you to cover their butt, but they will take care of you if you do it on your own. It's not kssing butt, it's how the world works.
