We still have adult geese that were raised by a turkey hen and they still acknowledge her as their mom

Turkeys make wonderful mothers. ❤ I have seen wildlife cam footage of turkeys playing tag with fawn.

Sometimes Mother Nature can be devastatingly brutal. But, sometimes, Mother Nature surprises us in ways we almost never thought possible. What a fantastic idea to give the female turkey some new eggs to hatch and chicks to 'mother'. Brilliant! 😊👍 M 🦘🏏😎
