But for me without a doubt my reviewer of choice. Forget Jeb Brooks, Dennis Bunnik, definitely Sam Chui (yawn) and evening Paul Lucas and Noel Phillips which often worth watching, this guy is just 5 star in what he says. That last spoken word section was so profound and true that we in the West take totally for granted and yes we have a home that is not under threat from whatever act of aggression but equally we do need to have a reconsideration of our lives and our priorities going forward. Take care to you and your family too young sir. When this current issue is over I really do await your next review with happiness and expectation.

having lucked into your videos since this pandemic began and being sidelined with no travel, your humour, wit and attention to detail has made me travel alongside you during your adventures. I was reminded of our trip to Kenya some years back as you talked about being kind and open hearted as we go back to travelling. We have been fortunate enough to travel, spending two years in Portugal, working remotely before the pandemic took off. Africa changed the way I look at places. Smiling children barefoot, in dirt floored huts; no beggars to speak of, only those people selling you whatever they have in order to survive (similarly in Morocco). I brought back many beaded necklaces with lions teeth and treasure them all. Most importantly i brought back an understanding that has stayed with me to every other place we have travelling since. Thank you for sharing a piece of yourself that was heartfelt. I reached for my tissue and understood. On a lighter note, your dry sense of humour rivals those of my background being a first generation Canadian whose parents were born in Estonia. Stay safe... (a fellow Torontonian)

Wow, a Chinese who grew up in Saudi Arabia and now living in Canada. You do have an interesting upbringing! Living in different countries and being exposed to different cultures seem to have broadened your horizon and mind. I wholeheartedly agree with you that next time when we travel, we should be “kind, humble and be the best representative of our kin”. When we are in a foreign land, we are the representative of our home country. Our behaviour not only influences the perception of the locals on us as an individual but also all of our fellow countrymen as well. If we want the rest of the world to like our country and people, we need to be in our best behaviour. Our government flexing political power and economic might just won’t do.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You - for creating these smart, insightful, and eloquent videos. The more I watch them, the more I enjoy your unique style, wonderfully dry sense of humor, and the occasional dash of self-deprecation. KZfaq is chock-full with mediocre (yet entitled), lazy, and presumptuous “travel blogs” and “brutally honest” airline reviews that often turn out to be self-aggrandizing fluff-n-puff pieces. Your work here is so refreshing, and very personal, allowing your viewers to relive your experiences and getting a ‘true’ impression of them, for themselves. Watching your videos, especially during the months of Corona-induced limitations, is a reminder of why I love and enjoy international travel so much. Keep doing what you are doing - I look forward to discovering many, many more fun, well thought-through, and unique reports from you. Best regards, Oliver (München)

Your FLIGHT DIARIES style is so refreshing to watch without over-polishing and bias to any perspective of one particular airlines. The video editing is getting better and better and I love your video started getting more personal touch than all the other aviation youtubers. Keep up the good work bruh.

"I also took this time to say a short prayer and gratitude to the gods of the seat assignment algorithm" ROFL😂 Love Tiezheng's witty, dry sense of humor! The ending segment was touching and very well written.

Ive binged your videos for the past few days since I found you. Your reviews though completely unachievable as of right now (in terms of seats/lounges/etc) are unattainable to me however, your quality and humour kept me wanting more. Your remarks at the end of this video finally convinced me to subscribe. Keep up the good work, good to know a fellow Canadian is making such good aviation content!

You’ve done it man, you’re by far the most enjoyable av vlogger to watch on KZfaq, and that’s saying alot because there’s plenty of guys who I’ve watched for years and are great but there’s just something about your storytelling, anyways just wanted to say I appreciate you bro :)

I love these long-form reviews! And your combination of thoughtful commentary, grammatically-impeccable and highly-nuanced narration, intersprinkled humor and well-placed expletives, love of out-window scenery and AVgeek sight-seeing, and heartfelt concern for your fellow humans (at this very moment I'm listening to your reflections about the homes of Iraqis and Syrians), have just made you my very favorite flight vlogger. And I think I follow nearly all of them. What's more, I can tell you're just being yourself. These films are priceless; just so, so good. Thank you for doing this, and I'll be eagerly awaiting each one.

I paused to write this and then continued; those last 3 sentences or so just straight up made me cry. That was beautiful. I try my best to do that, and I hope everyone always will.

Thank you for taking the time to write all of this out. I'm glad that you were able to connect with me over our shared love for travel and aviation, and I'm humbled by your words. If you excuse my poorly managed upload schedule, I'll endeavor to make more of these films so that people such as yourself can derive some enjoyment vicariously through them.
