Very nice video Alvin! We're booked IST-YUL next spring break in business class when returning from our EU trip and I'm so excited to try it out and your take on it makes it even more exciting. Thankfully we're on an evening flight to Montreal, and fingers crossed for no equipment change lol

Great editing man, thanks for this. TK has SFO-IST-MNL for like $3600USD r/t a lot of the time with a long IST layover, very tempted to do it instead of a non-stop or Asia one-stop. 77W/350/789 combo too

Flown TK business for many times and years. I somewhat like the old business class better. Absolutely outdated, no direct aisle access for many passengers, but boy the best bed and food there was. Appetizer a few years ago was served on a trolley. New business class, bed position is cramped. If you get the "couple seat" you are done, since there is an additional separation wall. Makes it even more cramped. I do not give to much about service, since the hard product counts more for me. but yes, last time I flew, they rushed dinner as well. Price wise and connection time wise, I think TK is great. Soft and hard product, ehmm not as good as they used to be in my own opinion. I still give 'em a go, since it is still way better than to sit in the big cabin. Great video!

I think the critique of the rushed meal service needs some context. This flight takes off around 11pm, and although its about 9 hours many people will want to maximize their downtime. Good video though, always enjoy watching your stuff 😊

Turkish Airlines business class seats are very similar to Singapore Airlines

No pre-departure sparkling wine or Champagne. If you would like an adult beverage prior to departure then better frequent the lounge or terminal bar.

Your video was awesome. I did subscribe. You present much better videos than Whinny Dan and always issues Noel. And don’t get me started about Sam. The only thing I would ask you to do differently, is to give us a run down of what your meal options are. Also service could have been rushed to accommodate people’s desire to sleep!

On the privacy barrier by the window - besides blocking the window, it makes sitting upright for takeoff / landing very uncomfortable & claustrophobic. Very redundant. You can make use of other means to absorb noise.

TK is notorious for not allowing people to film the cabin, how was your experience? Obviously u filmed a lot in this flight, but how did the crew react to u?

Actually they didn’t say anything about it! I was careful to only film within my own space and try not to get other passengers in the shot.

I have learned that flying TK Business Class the best selection is always the pasta. The meat, whatever cut it has been, has always been a disappointment.

Definitely sound like you didn't have a good crew. That's always a problem with TK how inconsistent the cabin crew can be. Some amazing ones and then others are at the lower end of service. That whole thing to make your bed before dinner was a sign of very porn training and just going through the motions. That was the first sign. And agreed the seat has some significant design flaws. SQ runs into the same thing since it's the same seat. Hopefully you stole the cute salt and pepper shakers for compensation. 🤣

My friend, about the arrival meal, canned mushroom omlette used to be served in TK economy in the last decade which is one aspect, and on the other, it is totally unacceptable to serve canned mushrooms in the business class! As Turkish airlines don’t do first class, however sell their business class tickets as semi-first that is something unacceptable as passenger. In the last decade Turkish Airlines was trying to be same level with Qatar, Emirates. Today, unfortunately they are becoming like Lufthansa or BA. I hope that they will not downplaying themselves. The cabin is also extremely hot, like a turkish bath. I wondered planes’ airconditioning systems. They used to be so good!! I used to love flying with them. Last couple of years they are downplaying themselves.
