Yes, the lounge is an integral part of the entire Biz Class experience. Wish I had visited it during daylight hours.

Hi Viman. Excellent video. I'm glad the Chef in the Business Class is back. We're getting ready for our flight to Istanbul in a few months. It will be the same plane B777-300ER. That will be a very long walk without the cart. Thanks.

Indeed. It’s a great touch by Turkish Airlines. The food onboard is not really prepared by the chef but they are involved in presentation and plating.

I'm going to Istanbul in June. I guess I stick to Qatar Q suite business class. Seems Turkish Airlines has no intention to change the seat configuration. Thanks for the wonderful flight review. It helps alot. Cheers and Selamat Datang.

Yes, Turkish needs to update its J product on the 777/A330 asap. The 787/A350 J product is so much better

Летали из Петербурга (Россия) в Канкун))) Самолеты старые и раздолбанные)))) Надо отдать должное что в бизнес-классе кормили очень хорошо! И обслуживание на самом высоком уровне! Новый аэропорт - прекрасен! Дубай отдыхает))))) В общем турки - молодцы!

Thank you Michael! The buggy service counter is near the escalator at the exit of the lounge. You exit the lounge, take the escalator down one level and walk maybe 10 steps ahead to reach the counter.

Thank you. SOP to travel to Istanbul you mean? You need to be fully vaccinated and/or need to have a negative PCR test result. This depends on your origin country. The latest guidance is available on their website.

Thank you! Yes, the headphones are reusable and are sanitized after the flight. They offer Denon noise cancelling headphones in Business Class

Thanks for the video. Would you recommend an aisle seat in the middle, or on the sides? Traveling solo, I am wondering which would leave you less likely to have people disturbing you during the night. You got lucky that the seat next to you was empty:)

The aisle seat in the middle row would be better as the middle seat pax has two options to reach the aisle. There is also a higher chance of the middle seat being empty if the flight is not full. A window seat pax on the other hand has no other choice but to disturb the aisle pax if they need to reach the aisle.

Great review! I'm flying a similar flight next week (sin-ist) on business. It's the same aircraft. Can you keep the amenities kit with you after you land? I have an onwards flight to Europe.

Yes, you can keep the amenity kit with you. The one on Turkish is quite nice actually.

Definitely agree with your comment on 2-3-2. The Oman Air system of staggered pods is far superior.

Are you planning to upgrade with miles or cash? Mileage upgrade requirements should be the same. Cash upgrades might differ online and over the counter.

Unfortunately yes. If the aisle seat is in the full flat position, you either need to ask them to retract the seat or jump over them 🙁

Thank you! There is no "completely free" way to get lounge access while flying Economy. You need to be either an Elite member (Gold/Platinum level) of an airline/alliance's Frequent Flyer program or have a credit card which allows lounge access at certain airports. Some airlines like Turkish also allows Economy Class passengers to buy a one-time lounge access along with their ticket on domestic flights. Hope this helps!

Too bad that the business class configuration is 2-3-2. You basically have to jump on other passengers to get to the aisle if they are using the seat flat.

u good that ur not in that dreadful middle seat in the middle section. Insane that airlines have 2-3-2 config on a wide-body business class these days. The same goes for EK - simply unacceptable.

Useless review, the most important aspect of business class is sleeping comfort and you showed nothing, seats should be possible to be completely flattened so you can completely lie down and sleep.

Imagine you are placed in the middle seat at the middle row, with one that drinks all night on the left and a screaming child on the right! It is all about the hard product! Turkish and emirates has the worst business class seats on their 777. No privacy ! You were lucky that the next seat is empty. It is not worth the 4 to 5 times price of economy. On the otherhand Turkish has better seats in the economy, only 3 3 3 instead of the normal 777 3 4 3 seatings.

Well, I would join the person on the left and drink all night haha... but yeah, middle seat in Business Class is inexcusable in this day and age. Turkish really needs to update the J class product on its 777s/A330s.
