Hey, "antk88", it is not an invasion. I don't know if you uploaded this video knowingly but if you don't know anything about the history you shouldn't make such comments. Turkish troops were there because of some of the Greek Cypriots' attack on Turks living on the island. Those Greek Cypriots were encouraged by radical Greek politicans, statesmen, etc. The Greek Cypriots wanted to annex the island to Greece but they ignored Turks living there. This annexion is called ENOSIS. Turks resisted and then they committed terrorist attack on Turkish Cypriots. The name of that terrorist organisation is "EOKA". Because of that, Turkey, as a guarantor country of the island like the UK and Greece, did some operations to terminate the conflicts. Because there people died not only Turks also Greeks died in those conflicts. Greece didn't want to stop conflicts in Cyprus, Turkey asked the UK to make a cooperation but the UK remained silent and then Turkey made the operation itself because it was its right to do that because it was a guarantor country of the island, not just Turks, guarantor of all island.
