@@liammckeown8765The Greeks took Smyrna after the end of the first world war, and when the Turks captured it back they had to sail by boat to get back to Greece.

I've seen more Mausers IRL than any other firearms combined. The Germans were ahead of the game with this rifle. It eventually got into the hands of several other nations like this one in particular, and remains a favourite for collectors and is easy to get hold of in most countries where this type of rifle is legal to own.

Once I owned a deactivated Turkish K98 for reenactment display only mine had the Turish stampings on top of the German Waffen stamps. Practically no difference between these rifles. Like the AK.

It is! About $70 for the bandolier and ammo, I just shot some on my channel last week and it’s got about a 20% dud rate lol
