This video provides information regarding the entire process of making turmeric powder from organically grown turmeric roots. Digging, separating the roots, cleaning them, cutting into slices, sundrying then pounding or milling them and finally sieving. These are the long process of making pure turmeric powder. This requires around 1 week to complete the whole process.

I grow haldhi in long pots in my balcony in Mumbai. I harvest over 2 kgs every year which I use to make pickle also powder. I get almost half kg powder. I use this precious haldhi in warm water as the first drink of the day every morn.But at my age 73 yrs this is too much work for me but I do for the love of all natural. Tq dear boy.it USA pleasure to watch n listen to you.

Hard but rewarding work. In Maharashtra we get one more type of turmaric call Ambe (mango) halad (turmaric) my mother prepare a pical using both raw.

Are you talking about Maavina Shunti? The mango flavoured ginger. It's grown and used in coastal and western chats of Karnataka also. Used to prepare chutney, pickle etc., Is there Mango flavoured Turmeric???

Well explained video! Most of us don’t give that much importance while choosing right turmeric. If we want good health, we must go for pure ingredients. I tried Yellowraw premium turmeric from Nature’s Box. It passes the test too. Try and see.
