I made boxes out of vintage cards I had for over 20 years. I sold them at a craft fair. People loved them. Thank you so much for teaching me how to do this. I have come back and watched again for a refresher course.

A great idea for cute little gifts for teachers...especially when you have 4 in school. I didn't have 5×7 but a 4x6. Just adjusted to size...fits business cards perfectly with a little room. Thank you again for something...SO STINKIN CUTE!😊🤩

Sherry, I remember a tutorial you did on using envelopes to make closable boxes accentuated with decor of choice. This tutorial uses the cards which already have decor but can be used for smaller boxed contents. This is great because I 💘 Love baking 🍪cookies and making Fudge 😋 in great quantities. 👍 I will now be able to fill these boxes with goodies and have enough! This tutorial 👌 is "on spot" with a spirit of just giving 👏 for any occasion 😀 at anytime! Thanks so much for making it easy-to-use at all times necessary!

This is a great way to save special cards from special people or occasions! I’m going to hunt around for an old greeting card from my late dad to make into a keepsake box, preserved with his signature inside. I think I’ll either spray it with polyurethane or paint over the whole thing with UV resin to keep it nice for a long time!

Oh, I see room in that cute box for at least 6, maybe 12, of those peanutbutter cups.😋 Maybe the timing of this video is why I couldn't bring myself to make more cards or albums out of the rest of my Candy Retro paper. It was meant to be saved to make boxes! Thank you! Just about all of the patterns would work! And being able to flat fold them until needed is perfect! I'll just put them in my box drawer of my rolling giftwrap cart, tillthen.😊 thanks, again, Sherry!

I LOVED all of your Dollar Tree cards projects last year and I bought about 6 boxes of different cards. I still have them - used some but many left, so I've already made 4 of these! Love them.. and the pictures always turn out just right on the top and the words inside (the DT cards have a verse inside). I am going to cut one a little shorter, so it's more of a square, and see how that works out, as love the tiny gift boxes too. They close nice and tight too, which I love. I can see how nice they would work too with heavy cardstock and then just mat it, but there's something fun and novel about using a card!

I've never done any paper crafting but I was fascinated by your channel so I subscribed. Last year, I got a ton of inexpensive Christmas cards. My idea was to use as decorations on cards, boxes, put in a picture frame. Never thought I could make a box LOL. Love this project.

Sherry this little box is a delight. I have some leftover cards that I won’t send out again (I don’t like sending the same card the next year, just yet another quirky thing 😂). I have some cards that will be perfect! I have cute animal and dog cards...how cute to fill with dog treats for our canine buddies!!! I will definitely be doing an assembly line if these to use up all those cards!!! Thank you my brilliant friend! RedG says hello to Loki! I told RedG what a good lil dog Loki was and listened to the mama...was quiet and settled....RedG just gave me a blank stare 😂😂😂! My big ol’ baby boy....😜

I can hardly wait to convert some of the cards I have sitting around into pre-planned boxes that will lie flat in a container until needed. I will just choose the one I want and glue the tabs, belly band and embellishments making it truely a fast gift box! I am so glad you take the time to share your creative genious with all of us. Inspired by you I am currently buying all kinds of rolled papers including wall papers when I see them in stores or garage sales. When my creative side finds some time I will pull up one of your videos and create with you. The other day I bought some of those little metal corners you use to put little feet to a project. It adds such elegance to the item! I can hardly wait to share this video with some crafty ladies at church! There is so much ministry that these cards turned into boxes can do. It would be an easy project to take to work too. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

Hi Sherry, I am not a crafter at all. But I am a baker and candy maker. I think I can actually make this box to put my treats in to give as gifts! I don't feel intimidated by this project. I've loved all the boxes you have made a while ago using various greeting cards. This is wonderful. You're using the entire card for a box that can be used for anything. If you happen not to have the 5X7 cards, just use cardstock & carry on. You are such a creative & very well talented lady Sherry. Be well & TYFS
