my hair used to fall to and its not because of the henna or anything but i swear to god sis johnsons baby shampoo is a life saver. its changed my life. wash it with baby shampoo and dont condition it. apply a lil morrocan oil after and focus on the ends of ur hair, prevent applying it to ur roots because the human scalp produces enough oil for that area. please tell me if you have any questions i will try to help right away

Warm never hot. I omit the lemon juice and don't make the tea too strong either as it s v drying and I add aloe Vera gel . Many sources recommend adding hot liquid like tea ; that results in fast dye release but weak staining. So it s best to mix the henna with warm tea , cover the bowl & wait like 4 hrs at room temperature. Then do a stain test with tissue paper ; if the henna s ready it will leave a pumpkin orange stain on the paper. The paste can also be frozen for 3 months .then defrosted at room temperature; this results in stronger stain as the ice crystals break up cellulose in the ground henna leaves so dye release will be better. Warm water & apple juice mix can also be added; the slight acidity helps dye release & unlike lemon /vinegar etc doesn't dry the hair as much. Also plz don't leave the henna paste on for longer than 4-5 hrs as it dries hair out too much. Apply the dye released paste, cover with plastic like shower cap to keep wet. Leave on & wash out using diluted sulphate free shampoo (Johnson's Baby s cheap & good) + tons of conditioner /hair mask

It is a great one off product for learning how to get your natural hair color back minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.

I have this problem too. So I do a mix of henna and indigo (my hair is very grey now it used to be dark brown) but if you do it once a week the colour will gradually build up and go darker. Indigo on its own makes white hair green but combined with henna it makes brown/black.
