Turn off microwave beeps easy to silence microwave. How to turn off microwave beeps. How to disable your microwave beeps for a whirlpool model WMH31017As-2. If your home loses power, your microwave will reset when the power comes back on. You will need to repeat the process. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE.
Although this method is only designed for a Whirlpool microwave; some people said that it works for other brand microwaves too. It’s worth a try! Please let me know if you were able to silence your microwave beeps. I found the beeping to be so loud and annoying! So I found the online microwave manual from Whirlpool and started searching for a way to disable the audible tones. Wouldn’t it be nice for Whirlpool to make a single button just to mute the microwave? I mean; they could even market their microwave having this key feature! One of the great comments I received on this video stated that she owned a massage business and when other workers went on break you could hear the microwave in the massage rooms. So disabling the microwave beeps is very helpful to many people. What if you get really hungry in the middle of the night on a week day?

YOU SHOULD WIN AN AWARD!!!! This beeping and beeping and then when my food is done it has a REMINDER BEEP and I find that to be the most annoying thing ever. Bad enough I'm being constantly pressured in this world by tailgaiters on the freeway, people with their carts in line at the grocery, alarms everywhere I CAN'T TAKE IT!! thank you kind sir.

Ho-lee SHIIEET! For years I've been saying that microwaves should come with a button silence feature and a cook time Dean feature! Whenever I go to Like home Depot and stuff, I always find myself looking at the lumber and then working back to the back of the store and looking at the plumbing stuff and the kitchen appliances and refrigerators and whatnot, and if I see they have any merchandise out microwave speaking, I always look to see if there are any microwaves that have button silencers / end of cycle silencers, and I have seen none, and if I was an engineer and could build a microwave I would definitely build one with the silencing features LOL but now.. now! Dude, you are a stand-up guy 🤙🏿🤙🏿

I've lived with the loudest beeping microwave for two years and finally I had it up to here. (I'm lazy and I like things to sit and stew for a while.) I tried as you suggested and nothing worked. That's when I noticed the "Options" button. I pressed it and first option is Sound On/Off. Can you believe it? TWO YEARS XD Anyway, I found your video after trying to dig up manuals online. Thank you for making me "look" haha

This only works on certain microwave brands and models. There are many units that are not programmed with this function, especially the cheaper units.

For a Hamilton Beach, Often, pressing and holding 1, 0, Stop or Cancel will either result in turning off the beeping sounds or activating a child lock feature.

It's a Whirlpool "electric" oven. I bought it at Lowes and asked if they could dismantle the beeper, but they said they could not. I hear high pitched noises three times louder than normal and wish there were "beep free" choices. @@HowToDoAnything777

Hi Lori, models vary. But try holding down the, “broil” button for five seconds. It may have three levels of loudness. I’m not sure if it’s possible to remove the tones completely as the oven will continue to cook the food and burn it if you do not shut the oven off after the food is finished cooking, because of the absence of a tone. A microwave shuts off automatically. If you have a cook time option; then it might be possible. Try the broil button and let me know. I might be able to find it eventually if you give me the model number. A last resort would be to disconnect the wiring to the speaker after unplugging the oven.

Hi, the broil button didn’t work for my whirlpool gas oven. If it doesn’t work for you; see if you can find the model number somewhere on your electric oven 🙂

I have a model WMH32519HZ purchsed in 2018 and I want to increase the volume, especially for end of cycle which is pretty quiet now. Any way to do that? The options that I can cycle through does not have volume settings.
