Even though i can see the reason why Chuck E. Cheese's has changed throughout the years, especially from having more nicer and friendly feelings but this is why i love the Pizza Time Theatre era of Chuck E. Cheese, it has a cartoony sense of humour... especially Chuck E's sarcastic humour and of course, Jasper's laugh.

I’ve always preferred this Chuck E. over the other ones. No matter how much of a jerk he his (ESPECIALLY to poor Jasper) I always laugh at his insults. Also, I love how in early showtapes, there are parts when Chuck alluded to the fact that they are robots powered by computers and whatnot, and that one roast from the American Melody show that went like: Chuck E. (Talking to Jasper and Crusty) You know, these computers in the back are supposed to be smart, right? Jasper and Crusty: Right! Chuck E: Then how come are you so dumb? Jasper: Gee, I never thought about that! (Then he bursts into laughter.) Chuck E: Well, when that giant computer was handing out parts, he must’ve forgotten a couple of yours. That part killed me.

Originally, Chuck e cheese's PTT theather shows were targeted to adults instead of children, Thats why shows from that era had a lot of adult humor and some details for adults like chuck holding a cigarrete, Sometimes they would even curse, (in fact in one showtape you can hear Crusty the cat saying the word "PVSSY" while performing), later the shows began to target children but keeping a litlle of the adult humor hidden, Chuck, was originally ment to say "Turn of the Fucking dog" but to keep it family friendly they changed the line to "Turn off the fruitcake dog" Fruitcake being used as a metaphor to "Crazy" cus yk, Jasper was crazy during those times
