The entire video style and thumbnails are an uncanny amalgamation of the child oriented KZfaqrs that make horrible quality videos for the sake of ad revenue.

For anyone wondering, timers don’t spawn on some transforming stages like Town & City because this game is a buggy mess sometimes.

I don't think it's a bug, the theory is that it's because of the clock in the background that they chose to disable the timers on some stages.

Not all items can spawn on all stages, just like how screen or star KOs don't occur everywhere. It's simply because it doesn't interact with these stages very well, so they got disabled.
