I love this because it captures so much of the fullness of sound (and even cranks it up a little IMO) of the original.

I first heard this when I was 10. Ever since, the Rickenbacker sound makes me stop what I'm doing so I can just let it wash through me. The Byrds took me from 60's pop-n-gum to the real stuff: Grateful Dead, Cream, Iron Butterfly, CSN, Jefferson Airplane, and on and on....

Hello George... Thank you for your comment about our covers. Are you, by chance, from Southern California, Los Angeles area? ... I'm thinking we are good friends from years past. Great times and memories ☺

I lived in Sunnyvale and Modesto in my youth but not since 4th grade. Wish I could say I knew you guys but well, I feel like I do when I listen to your covers. If I didn't live in Utah I would try to shoehorn myself into your group. I'm a 69 year old singing guitar player. Played in night clubs with rock bands, dance bands, jug bands. I'm trying to get some old guys together here to do what you are doing. Keep up the great work.

@@georgeking6356 ..Well, you may not be the George King I knew in the 70's & 80's, but hey, I do know you now!!! The George King I knew from way back managed the restaurant/lounge at the LA Police Academy and hired my family band as regulars for the lounge there. He Kept us busy at other establishments in the LA area, as well. I thank you for getting back to me with the info on where you lived in California as a youth, and that you are a fellow musician, too. I hope someday soon you do get together with local guys that have the same desire to play, record and video some of your favorite music. I would like to be able to see and hear you, too. The internet is the largest audience anyone can play to, and also make friends and connections along the way. Keep in mind, "it's never too late, George. I turned 72 this past January.
