@@Flesson19 yup, i understand, i try and set them as there own unit, give them shields and bows that way i can prioritize archers with shields and heavy armour, more likely to be in a group that way

thank you, for sister and brother I have them serve a certain purpose to it matter, but what I could do is split it up into time stamps for each role. I use my little brother to run a group and little sister as either engineer/scout and archer captain to be safe. It doesn't seem that tough to do

his skills are so well rounded unlike others you will find when you look at when I assign him all the stats he has. It is almost easier to get him the 95% reduced escape chance for prisoners than any wife you can get that will have all the other bonuses.

if your holding 40-70 lords, they dont have lords to make parties or big armies and that means you can steam roll them or when it comes time to peace out they will end up paying you more. Also If you do want a town, give a castle or 2 back so you can be in the vote for a town, I have a separate video that shows the formula on who are they 3 that get voted on

@@Flesson19 holding that many lords hasnt even crossed my mind. I am not even sure any single kingdom has consolidated that many under its banner in my playthrough yet O_o I will be sure to check that out. Thanks!

@@emwZEEK ive done it as many clans about 4-7 lords but most can only send out 3 at a time, so if someone gets captured then one of their idols lords goes out so you need to capture a ton to stop them.

U can do it easily as a merc, story a siege, when the enemy approaches stop and run. If u think you'll grt caught just leave the kingdom, only negative is you could lose a good contract

you gain leadership, with big armies, recruiting or promoting troops. Lower food consumption used to slow down steward gain but that has been fixed and verified to not effect it anymore.

@@Flesson19 also keeping high moral helps leadership if I remember correctly. Therefore I think getting Gourmet is essential with other moral boosts. Ability to form a party and then the only control is to disband it change later or aggressive neutral defensive unless become vassal or declare kingdom seems not in character for a game like this.

taxes can give around 2000-4000, if I remember right tarrifs were under 1k

Do either have an effect on anything else? Like more taxes, reduced loyalty, etc. Also some creation background choices can result in 3 perks at start, is there a meta attribute/multiplier setup for each faction? Like only some factions can get 30 starting medicine for the uber personal healing perk. Iirc correctly one choice resulted in 5 riding or bow, so 50 points at start with a x5 multiplier.

@@nobodynothing282 yes I think sturgians are only ones that can stat with 5 roguery, I normally choose empire or battania for culture bonuses

or you can put bandit troops in his party, attack caravans or villages with his own party in your army, there are ways. If I didn't have the mod that is what I would do, not use the command console

so i just test again and this happened even when im attacking side, the battle doesnt end I have to enter battle again and i lost all upgrades..... i didnt get answer googling it is it just me🤣🤣🤣🤣

He will be a parry leader leader to gain those skills which will help once he's a governor, he's not mean to fill a role but to run his party then be a governor

@@Flesson19 I see what you mean. Im wondering if its viable too spec companions for maximum party leading skill and minimum personal combat specs. I managed too get my medic up too 200+ box and 200+ 2 handed but it took like 40 in game years. Most companions usually have alot of green in there vigor/control and are hardly competitive too a tier 4 standard troops combat wise.

you can't, if you use Lessers scholar player governor mod then when you are in a town without a gov then your perks work while waiting there.

I always keep her. She is more valuable as any party role or making her own party for your clan since she starts at level 1

About the trading, I guess I need a refresher... do you know the formula for skill-ups? (ex. you buy 1000 grain for $9, and sell all at once that starts at $25 but at the end of selling its shows $12. Do you get trade skill for 1000xprofit at $25 or does it calculate each piece of grain, so like 50grainx$25 profit, 50 grain x $24profit, 200 grain at $20profit, 500 at $18, and so on.) And or whats the best way to get skillups? I should also ask if you know, but does the game calculate skill-ups based on buy price or global averages (or what the formula is)? I just assumed it was sell price - buy price = skill experience.

@@tdotfun You gain xp for the profit made not the total sale so I norrmally stop when my side hits light green

the easiest way I found is giving him a bow since he can use a noble bow. Put him as a captain of his own group and have everyone retreat. Death on is always a concern. yo can have him go just against looters but other bandits give a lot more xp and sometimes I can get 10-20 riding in battle of 20 sea raiders. The economy change after 1.8 made things vey tough and im still learning the ropes. the economy settles around day 200 and some items like tools, linen and pottery are easy sells. I hope to get time in the near future to really test and figure our a good system

@@tdotfun Skill gain is based on profit, so it must be calculated for each piece you sell, though I haven't looked it up. I've got 300 trade on 3-4 playthroughs (throughout different patches of early access) (when horses were more expensive I did it at around the 550 day mark, after the price and economy changes I've done it at the 650-680 day mark), it's quite relaxing at first and then it turns grindy towards the end; and towards the end you start hating it and say you'll never do it again but somehow you find yourself doing it again lol. 1. What you need to do is get some initial capital, it doesn't really matter how you do it, but keep in mind that in a trader playthrough, until you get 300 trade, YOU DON'T NEED UPGRADED UNITS beyond tier 1 foot soldiers or tier 2 Khuzait cavalry, because you'll only be running around the map, not fighting. Why am I saying this? Because when you first start your character and you need that initial capital, you might be tempted to upgrade your units so you can take on more enemies, do more profitable quests etc. But if you do that, after you get 10-15-20k gold (which doesn't take long), you won't need those upgraded units anymore and you'll just end up ditching them (because why would I run around the map with more expensive tier 4-5 units when, for trading purposes, lower tier units can give me exactly the same benefits, which in this case would be allowing me to have more horses and pack animals or moving faster - with tier 2 cavalry units?), so the upgraded units are just a waste of gold. So how I do it is I grab 10-15 (soon more, so bandits won't attack me) tier 1 units and some food (and maybe some horses later, the cheapest used to be Battanian Ponies and Khuzait horses), I never upgrade my units, I do tournaments and I look for "Deliver the herd" quests, which spawn in villages that produce animals (hogs, horses, cattle and sheep; best areas for these are: Western Empire, Northern Empire, Southern Empire and Khuzait territories, they all have these kinds of villages close to each other). You'll be doing a lot of running around, but who cares, your units cost 20 gold/day more or less, and tournaments and the quests I mentioned give hundreds or 1000+ gold each. And as a bonus, "Deliver the herd" quests also give honor, which can help you get the Honourable trait if you haven't got it in character creation. Do this for a while and you've got your initial capital. *After the economy changes it seems to me that it's not worth it anymore to start trading right after starting the game, even though you start with 1000 gold (the only exception being going to a city that sells a lot of cheap hogs, buying and slaughtering them and selling the meat and leather, so you could also do that in the beginning for a few thousand gold). OR when you first start, play the game normally (upgrade units - but I would still ditch them once the running around part starts, do whatever quests you want, do whatever you must to reach clan tier 1) and then do what I said, that way when you head to Askar you'll have 40+ units ready to carry horses and goods.

2. Now go to Askar (Aserai territory, best place to buy Desert and Aserai Horses, which are the most profitable to buy and resell), and either buy as many horses, mules and cheap goods as your gold will allow, or until your movement speed on the map is at around 3 (lower than that and you'll move like a snail, but feel free to stop at whatever speed you want). What goods should you buy? Well, your next destination is Vlandian and Battanian territories. There, they pay well for horses, fish, dates, grain, meat, cheese and butter and a few other items (through playing you'll learn yourself which regions pay well for what items), and Askar has plenty of grain, dates and meat, and you can even stop at Sanala and Quyaz before leaving and get more of some of these items aswell. Now go to Vlandian and Battanian cities and sell everything you bought for a profit, return to Askar, repeat. Once Askar runs out of goods and horses, you can turn your attention to Iyakis (and there was another town connected to villages that produce horses, I think it's Razih or Hubyar, but I'm not sure, I haven't played the game in a few weeks), which also have cheap horses and goods (but not as cheap as Askar) and repeat the process. Do this for a while and you should have 125 Trade, which unlocks the perks that passively give you renown for each profitable caravan/worshop you own, and now you'll start passively increasing your clan tier by doing almost nothing (which allows you to have more units => you can carry more stuff and no bandits will mess with you ever again); by this time you should also have enough gold for workshops and caravans aswell, which are quite expensive in the beginning of the game 3. Once you have enough gold to buy a lot of different items and enough units to carry your stuff, you can change your route. I always avoid the center of the map because their towns and villages are always under siege/being raided, which affects their prosperity and lowers the prices of goods in towns, the quantity of goods available for sale and also the amount they are willing to buy before the price turns yellow then green (which means it's not worth going there to sell in bulk for profit or to buy in bulk) (example - why would I go to Poros to sell for a profit when they'll pay a lot less than prosperous Aserai cities for the same item; or why would I go to Poros to buy cheese, where, even though it's cheap - because the town has a low prosperity form constantly being under siege and its villages being raided - they only sell like 10 of them, when I could go to Khuzait cities and buy 100 cheese at once from one town?). So for the new route I just circle around the map (Aserai - Vlandia - Battania - Sturgia - Khuzait - Aserai), buy low, sell high, repeat until 300 Trade. Also sometimes I avoid Sturgia (even though they have a lot of cheap cheese, butter etc. and they have a high demand for clay, pottery and a few other stuff) because the snow slows you down by quite a lot and even though their cities have a high demand for certain items (the price will be red when you sell), they are not that prosperous (so the price will not be that high even though it's red, and it will also turn yellow and then green a lot faster than in a prosperous town, meaning poor towns don't want to buy so many items at once, as I have mentioned above), so I'd rather sell pottery that is in demand in Aserai territories than in Sturgia. But I do go there sometimes because cheese, butter, grain, fish. 4. Put 10 points in Social and 5 focus points in Trade pretty much as soon as possible. I tried to do it with 8-9 points in Social and it's just a nightmare, I had to restart the campaign. After you finish with trading and want to conquer the world or whatever, your character will still be a beast so don't worry about possibly wasting so many points just to get 300 Trade 5. Somewhere in-between what I said, make sure you get some horses (and also mules or Sumpter Horses for your carry capacity) and some tier 2 Khuzait cavalry/horse archers to increase your map movement speed. Also buy workshops, start caravans, recruit more units once you level up your clan tier, get married, have kids lol.
