This is inspiring. Been stuck in a “loop” with my takt and octa duo. This helped me break out of it. I’ve bought your perf mixer (looper)template but this new version I think is really inspiring. Thanks for this.

Matt, the Scene 6 on the "Space" part is wonderful, I think it's the Acid Delay. Love it so much when I slide the fader back to the left when page 4 ends, and it has this totally amazing echo of the sound which goes well into page 2 of the next cycle. So much ear candy to discover, it's really fun to play with it, listen closely and learn how it's built. A real source of joy and inspiration, fantastic piece of art you have assembled right here. Can't even give enough thumbs up for this as KZfaq only allows one. Best Elektron / Octatrack related channel I have discovered on KZfaq, and also: your sound just fu©ĸs (yeah I'm repeating myself, sorry ^^)! Often, KZfaqrs share solid tech, but the sound is boring (or even painful) to hear, but for my taste, you have the perfect combination of both. 👍👍

I still have hope that one day Elektron will release a performance mixer that's essentially 8 stereo inputs into 8 tracks with the same kind of routable effect config and scenes+slider that the OT has, but with updated effects. I feel like the digital effects from the analog line onwards is a bit lusher sounding than my old rusty OTmk1.

Excellent! How would you approach the organization of patterns for a live set when some tracks a more complicated song structure (verse, chorus, bridge). Will each pattern represent a song or will groups of patterns represent different parts of a song? (I.e. pattern one is the intro, pattern two the verse, pattern three the chorus, etc). Thank you!

I got kind of lost as the way the cueing works and why is it necessary to cue your sample tracks. Could I use this template's left side as described here (with a drum machine IN) and the right side with track samples?

Amazing template! Question about the two sample tracks. Will the samples change depending on the pattern that’s selected just like on the DT?

Yes, you lock the samples into the pattern with a trig!

They are project files, so you can have as many as you like stored on the Octatrack but only one can be open at a time

Question mate, I've got all the templates but ended up selling some stuff and am now left with the OT, DT and Ableton. I mostly have the DT going C/D and Ableton A/B but I'd like to use just the OT and DT. Can I safely just change the tru track to another Sample track? Or is there a way to sync ableton to the OT so I can use those synths

and you have to route the Cue Out into the Digitakt then? to use the Flex Samples?

Yeah, this setup is meant to process external audio, the Octatrack is only providing two tracks of sampling.

Excuse me, I really find this pack very interesting but I am super curios about the resources, how did you create the initial loop ? is it content from the elektrom or some samples from your pack ? because i have never tried this stuff and super curious diving in! Waiting for your message

This is next level. But as i process only juno & vermona Drm i will stick with your previous version that is super fun to use by the way. This mixer template is clever so that you can reasign Flex machines loopers into AB / CD inputs to process it through a deeper stereo effect chain than the ones in your previous template. Now i need another elektron machine I guess 🥲
