Marvin Grossberg refused to take the case with Maya because Redd White was involved... but what if Grossberg was a little more selfless?
This video explores that possibility!
Most of the assets were obtained from court-records.net and and some popups were obtained from the Untitled Courtroom Discord server.
The program used to create this video was objection.lol.
Phoenix Wright Witness sprite was by me.

Finally! Grossberg is no rookie, I hate when people portray him an an incompetent lawyer. There's a reason his firm runs so well and he is the mentor of diego and mia after all. Good to see him get some justice. Looking forward to next parts!!

@@BuwakoBuwako Well, most ingame portrayals of him is how he's often worried & talks of his hemorroids. Even if he's a good lawyer, what little screentime he has isnt the most flattering.

I honestly hated how they turned him into a hemorrhoid-based gag in the third game. He is supposed to be competent.

I low-key love how Grossberg solves the case so easily, while Wright struggled. Like, he gets the idea to turn the receipt immediately. Phoenix didn't bother until Mia pushed him into that direction. Shows why Mia trusted him so much and advided Maya to go to him if she ever needed to.

Grossberg was her mentor and taught her all his techniques, after all. Of course he'd be able to easily and quickly handle the case.

Damn. Well, there's definitely a lack of growth for Phoenix and Maya now lol. Marvin Grossberg actually sucking it up and doing the case is based of him to do though. I'll await the next parts patiently :D

It also means no character growth for edgeworth because the defense attorney is grossberg, althrough i can tell manfred von karma wont be happy when he learns about edgeworth's loss against grossberg.

1-1: what if mia takes the case? 1-2: this. 1-3: unknown. 1-4: what if kristoph takes the case? (Iirc, in the og game, edgeworth said that there werent any defense attorneys willing to take edgeworth's case, so itd be interesing if there was a defense attorney willing to take the case) 1-5: unknown

For 1-3, what if Jack Hammer killed Dee Vasquez instead of the other way around? Remember, in the original case, Vasquez only kills Hammer in self-defense, so the alternate scenario would be where she fails to defend herself

I like the idea of Grossberg, the mentor of Mia and Diego, standing up, Diego get into a coma, unknowingly if he's gonna wake up again, and now Mia get murderer, both of his students gone, the least he wanna to do is to save the sister of Mia, Maya, for his mother Misty and for Mia, getting the courage to stand against Redd White Blackmail

I'm all about what if scenarios but I'd never considered this one. Like kinda wish Lana Skye got more involved because surely she's served her sentence by now. Her redemption would make for a good story. It's been a long time too since I've heard this soundtrack. Still stands up well :D.

Marvin Grossburg is an interesting case. He thought both Mia Fey and Mr. Armondo the art of defending a client, and yet the both of them changed it to their own way. Mr Grossburg is the original, the start of this chain of effects, and he doesn’t get any credit or mention for it besides the first case of the third game and this case. He needs to be here!

Ooooh exiting! I’m very interested to see where this goes! Although I’m curious what he’s gonna do with those files. They weren’t in the original game.
