Turner, OR Horizontal Darley Champion, Noon Blast

10 ай бұрынSecond re-record of Turner, this time it turned out better and I felt it was worthy of uploading. Wasn’t much I could do about the road noise as this was the only good angle the siren was visible from due to the way it was mounted. Recorded this with a friend, and we went and got photos of some other sirens as well.

I saw this thing while I was down in that area, didn't know it was a noon blaster! I might head back down there and film it on my next trip to the Portland/Salem area.

Small thing but the Fedelcode Model 2 in Duvall WA is inactive so ya might wanna update that on your WA State Siren map ( I know it is inactive as I live 3 blocks away from in and haven't heard it once. it was formally used for a pancake breakfast event which was discontinued this year and before that it was an active fire siren but it sits inactive now. I'm planning on eventually asking them if I can have it. )

Btw Carnations future siren points were installed on 12/10/2023 and are both 8032-B’s the 6024-B was also upgraded to an 8032-B and the solar charged 3012-B that I recorded back in July of 2023 was relocated to the Carnation public works yard. The Whelens were also deactivated on October 18th 2023.

the northern 8032-B's coordinates are 47.65875, -121.91095 and the Tolt Mac-Donald Park 8032-B's coordinates are 47.64433, -121.92185

soo I just went to every siren location today and every modulator is an 8032-B now, the 3012-B that was going to be relocated is now also an 8032-B and was moved down & across the street to the coordinates, 47.64805, -121.89678

Yes, and also “Sirens of Washington” in the same color code and pin style.
